Our hike starts at Arcu of Schisorgiu, the highest elevation point of the SP Capoterra – Santadi.

We are within the Area of Forest Sulcis, in a vast mountain range, a forest complex amplitude and density that will not be reflected in the rest of the island. The rivers that cross it are all of torrential character: we will take advantage of the seasonal lack of water in the Rio Mannu Trunconi, in order to drive about 40 minutes on his bed. The end of our journey is expected to Mitza Fanebas. Here we’ll visit the nuraghe with his namesake village and stock up on water at the source (Mitza).
