ESCURSIONE AL MONTE FERRU E AL FORTINO (COSTA REI)
Il Monte Ferru è un modesto rilievo (300 m) ben noto a chiunque si sia recato nella zona di Costa Rei, perchè domina il litorale e si impone con i suoi colori rossastri che hanno contribuito a caratterizzarne il nome.
Forse la natura vulcanica o l’ambiente particolarmente aspro lo rendono tanto attraente quanto inacessibile. L’Ente Foreste ha curato la pulizia di alcuni sentieri che permettono di accedervi, consentendo di scoprire un ambiente ricco dal punto di vista naturalistico e storico-archeologico in misura insospettabile.
La nostra escursione proseguirà fino al fortino e al Faro di Capo Ferrato, affacciato su uno splendido panorama costiero.
Auto propria, scarpe da trekking, pranzo al sacco.
Partenza alle ore 09:00 parcheggio Supermercato Leclerc di Quartu S.Elena, fronte Cimitero.
