What?
The educational workshop “Dripping” is directly inspired by the painting technique invented by the American artist Jackson Pollock in 1946, and became part of the expressive techniques used by American artists of the New York school, the critic Harold Rosembreg defines “Action painting”. Innovative methodology that totally undermines the canons of traditional painting from a physical basis, ie reversing the inclination of the plane surface of the painting: the vertical position on a tripod you switch to horizontal on the floor. In this way there is a total reversal of direction, the color is drained on the surface, and no longer spread with a brush. The various lines marked by pure and instinctive gesture is going to intersect and overlap to create the dense cross-linked, areas of light and shadow, sudden flashes of vivacity.
The workshop participants will be encouraged in their gestures, with a wide choice of colors that can drain a large tarp placed on the ground. Teamwork will happen to the individual, in which each aguzzerà their fantasy and imagination, trying to extract the images that went to form on the canvas thanks to collective work.

The workshops will be held from 18:00 to 20:00
