WORKSHOP CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST – COMUNAL ART GALLERY- CAGLIARI – 24 TO 30 SEPTEMBER

A continental breakfast is a “table” of research, study and experimentation for a period of one week and based on a specific topic: time and space. A generational clash, in which the experience of the artist Cristian Chironi is shared with a group of young artists who were invited to conceive and create a project to be presented at the end of the lab.

In addition to the study of the context, research on contemporary languages will be supported in the “talk” via Skype, in a dimension of dialogue and listening, that will involve some of the protagonists of the artistic research can add value to the topic: Cristina Rizzo (dancer, choreographer and performer), Gianluca D’Incà Levis (creator of contemporary Dolomites); Marcello Fois (writer, playwright and screenwriter); Marino Formenti (pianist and conductor), John Duncan (artist and composer), Franco Vaccari (artist ) Cesare Leonardi (architect), Francesco Tampieri (physical and collector).

The workshop is organized by the Contemporary project and in collaboration with the independent space MEME contemporary art and next of Cagliari, which is responsible for the selection of participants funded and sponsored by the city of Cagliari, Department of Culture, in order to enhance creativity of emerging talents in the area.
