CAPITOL Arte Contemporanea, in collaborazione con la Collezione Crobu, presenta VERSUS #2, secondo appuntamento di unprogetto annuale che si articolerà in sei appuntamenti distribuiti nell’arco del 2013. VERSUS introduce un format che vuole mettere a confronto, di volta in volta, tre artisti contemporanei e le opere di tre maestri del XX secolo appartenenti alla Collezione Crobu. L’idea nasce dall’ambizione di stimolare artisti e linguaggi del contemporaneo attraverso un confronto costruito con un doppio passo e prevede che entrambi gli autori delle scelte siano protagonisti attivi: affinità od opposizione di temi, punti di vista e soggetti, contrapposizione o incontro di opere già esistenti, rappresenteranno la proposta della galleria agli artisti chiamati a loro volta a rispondere a questo invito, con una nuova opera. VERSUS#2 presenta, per questa seconda edizione, i tre giovani artisti Roberto Falchi, Narcisa Monni e Giulia Sale, che dialogheranno con le opere di Giuseppe Citta, Toni Geic e Pietro Antonio Manca.

CAPITOL Arte Contemporanea è uno spazio di ricerca e approfondimento che si apre alla città e al territorio come motore dinamico di creazione. La galleria CAPITOL è nata nel 2006, e si è dedicata in maniera particolare all’arte contemporanea; per le sue esposizioni può contare sull’apporto delle opere della Collezione Crobu, raccolta permanente che spazia dall’arte antica alla contemporanea con uno sguardo internazionale e una particolare attenzione agli artisti sardi e stranieri che hanno lavorato in Sardegna.

CAPITOL Contemporary Art, in collaboration with the Collection Crobu presents VERSUS # 2, second round of unprogetto year will be divided into six events distributed over 2013. VERSUS introduces a format that wants to compare, from time to time, three contemporary artists and the works of three masters of the twentieth century belonging to the Collection Crobu. The idea was conceived by the ambition to stimulate artists and contemporary language through a comparison made with a double step and provides that both authors are active participants of the choices: affinity or opposition of themes, perspectives and subjects, contrast or match existing works, represent the proposal from the gallery to the artists themselves called to respond to this invitation, with a new work. VERSUS # 2 has, for this second edition, the three young artists Roberto Falchi, Narcisa Monni and Julia Salt, which will interact with the works of Joseph City, Toni Geic and Pietro Antonio Manca.

CAPITOL Contemporary Art is an area of research and study that opens to the city and the territory as a dynamic engine of creation. CAPITOL gallery was founded in 2006, and is dedicated to contemporary art in a particular way, for its exhibitions can count on the works of the Collection Crobu, permanent collection, ranging from ancient to contemporary art with an international outlook and particular attention to the Sardinian artists and foreigners who have worked in Sardinia.
