TRAVEL PAPERS – LAZZARETTO – CAGLIARI – OCTOBER 12 TO JANUARY 2013,27

The exhibition consists of a collection of about 100 new works including 70 watercolors, portraits in pencil and ink and painted 20 pictures.

The Carnet de Voyage is a path that leads the artist in France, Poland and Germany, to describe visual fragments of people taken out of everyday life, between ways of being distinctive and idiomatic.

History has gone to those places where the eye has stopped and the pencils have drawn signs and colors on paper notebook, a dramatic story such as the Nazi deportations which saw Obino stop time and bring back the clock just the moments of the Shoah and the fall of the Berlin Wall, between the barbed wire of Auschwitz-Birkenau (Oswiecim) and Plazow between the rails leading to the furnaces reduced to rubble, including the bewildered eyes of men and women in improbable portraits.

A Carnet de Voyage intense, dramatic and ironic smiles and cries of hypochondria modern than the old ones.
