THE LESSON – MASSIMO THEATRE – CAGLIARI – SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 22

Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 21.00 in the hall of the Teatro Massimo in Minimax via De Magistris 12 in Cagliari, will stage the Cooperative Theatre Olata with the show’s Lesson.
The Cooperative Olata Theatre brings to the stage the play by Eugène Ionesco signed by director Piero Marcialis. On stage, Franco Siddi, Marta Proietti Orzella and Rita Pau.

The lesson, written between 1949 and 1950, a comic drama in which there is not the sense of society, the deceptive teachings of the contents empty, ridiculous and laughable, so dramatic. The story takes place in the study of a small apartment owned by a French scholar and obsequious old professor who gives lessons in mathematics, linguistics and comparative philology to a new student. Spectator of what is happening is the ruler of the professor. The strange relationship that develops between teacher and student is the focus of Lesson farce that will eventually end in tragedy.
