Cosa c’è di più tenero, se una coppia di innamorati approfittano di questa cena per annunciare l’arrivo del loro primo bebè?..E cosa di più romantico se il futuro papà di quel bebè è il fratello della padrona di casa, felicemente sposata con un uomo che non disdegna affatto sentimenti umani, senso dell’ironia e valore dell’amicizia a dispetto dell’insulso peso del danaro, che gli ha imposto categoricamente di non offrire al ristorante “questa cena” ai suoi rispettabili cognati!? …E cosa c’è di più idilliaco, se a questa cena è invitato anche il grande amico di infanzia della nostra padrona di casa, e cosa di più dolce se costui è teneramente ed ostinatamente single!? Sembrerebbe la cena modello, la cena del secolo, la cena per antonomasia…ma se a preparare tutto quanto è la nostra cara padrona di casa, sapientemente diretta dalla stravagante sagacia di sua madre e allora il pasticcio è servito…

And … what could be more idyllic, if this dinner is also called the great childhood friend of our hostess, and what sweeter if he is tenderly and stubbornly single! ? It would seem the model dinner , dinner of the century, the quintessential dinner … but if you prepare everything our dear hostess, expertly directed by the whimsical wisdom of his mother and then the pie is served …
