SEMINARIO SULLA STORIA DEI TEMPLARI – CAGLIARI – 16-23 FEBBRAIOSEMINAR ON THE HISTORY OF THE TEMPLARS – CAGLIARI – FEBRUARY 16 TO 23

L’obiettivo del Seminario è quello di prendere in esame e approfondire storia e gesta dell’Ordine del Tempio dalla fondazione allo scioglimento. Nell’ambito dei tre appuntamenti (16, 19 e 23 febbraio) si studierà il ruolo degli Ordini monastico-cavallereschi nel medioevo crociato, l’organizzazione interna dell’Ordine Templare, la struttura gerarchica, la vita quotidiana dei monaci guerreri, l’attività militare in Terrasanta e in Europa.

The objective of the seminar is to examine and investigate the history and deeds of the Order of the Temple from the foundation to the dissolution. Under the three events (16, 19 and 23 February) we will study the role of monastic orders of knighthood in medieval crusader, the internal organization of the Templar Order, the hierarchical structure, the daily life of the monks Guerreri, the activity military in the Holy Land and Europe.
