A un anno di distanza i PLASMA EXPANDER tornano @ INTERNO 24! E lo fanno per presentare in esclusiva il loro terzo album, uscito in Vinile 180gr e Digital Dowload per un collettivo di etichette indipendenti italiane e spagnole (Brigadisco, FromScratch, Wallace, Hysm, Human Feather, Onlyfuckingnoise, Villa Inferno).

Cube è un lavoro denso, maturo e che trasmette perfettamente la forza di una band capace di trovare la sua migliore espressione nei live, dove i brani vengono triturati e trasfigurati da feroci improvvisazioni. In Cube la musica continua a bilanciare improvvisazione e struttura, noise e groove, ma nel suono dei nuovi Plasma Expander ripetizione, minimalismo e psichedelia sembrano ora avere un ruolo più rilevante rispetto alle atmosfere più frammentate e cinetiche del passato.
Registrato da Enrico Sesselego e mixato e impreziosito dalle sapienti mani di Simon Balestrazzi (T.A.C.), figura fondamentale per la scena sperimentale italiana, Cube arriva a distanza di tre anni dall’ultimo lavoro in studio, quel Kimidanzeigen che ha confermato le qualità di una band già evidenziate dal disco omonimo d’esordio, Plasma Expander, datato 2007.

Heavy-Psych? Free-Rock? Noise-Techno? I Plasma Expander fuggono da qualsiasi tentativo di classificazione scolastica e raggiungono con Cube lo zenit dell’imprevedibilità.

Cube viene presentato e suonato live il 9 MARZO @ INTERNO 24 – Cagliari, in seguito la band affronterà un
tour Spagnolo in Aprile e Italiano in Giugno.

A year away PLASMA EXPANDER @ return INTERNAL 24! And they do it to present exclusively their third album, released in 180gr Vinyl and Digital Dowload for a collective of independent labels, Italian and Spanish (Brigadisco, FromScratch, Wallace, Hysm, Human Feather, Onlyfuckingnoise, Villa Inferno).

Cube is a work dense, mature and perfectly conveys the strength of a band able to find its best expression in live, where the tracks are shredded and transfigured by ferocious improvisations. In Cube music continues to balance structure and improvisation, noise and groove, but the sound of the new Plasma Expander repetition, minimalism and psychedelia now seem to have a more important role than the more fragmented and kinetic atmosphere of the past.
Recorded and mixed by Henry Sesselego and embellished by the expert hands of Simon Balestrazzi (TAC), a fundamental figure for the Italian experimental scene, Cube comes after three years since the last studio work, that Kimidanzeigen which confirmed the quality of a band already highlighted by the debut self-titled album, Plasma Expander, dated 2007.

Heavy-Psych? Free-Rock? Noise-Techno? The Plasma Expander run away from any attempt to classify school with Cube and reach the zenith of unpredictability.

Cube is presented and played live on March 9 @ INTERNAL 24 – Cagliari, following the band face a
Spanish Italian tour in April and in June.
