PASTORIADI 2012 – PATTADA – 1 JULY

City of Pattada organized for June 16, 2012 “The Pastoriadi,” the Olympics campaign, a competition linked to sheep that different countries will participate in the district of Pattishall. Also involved in organizing the event ProLoco “Lerron” and the Horse Racing Association Pattadese. Each participating country (Goceano Logudoro, Monte Acuto) with their team representative will challenge others in disciplines derived from the pastoral world in key sports magazines-goliardica. There will be five disciplines on which it will challenge the participants, or the shearing, the transhumance, the shoots of the calf, and the cutting of firewood and Murra. The teams will have “unu Truffu” (a wildcard in dialect) that will be valid for only one race and will cut the time produced the same in case of victory, or to double in case of defeat.
