NORA JAZZ FESTIVAL (1-4 AUGUST): LARS DANIELSSON NEW QUARTET 2 AUGUST AT 1O PM

As part of “The Night of the poets” now in its thirtieth year, makes its debut Nora Jazz Festival (1-4 August).
The artists of the evening are Lars Danielsson New Quartet.

With this training Danielsson paints beautiful pictures and exciting with a whole new palette. Just what I had in mind when he invented the title of the new project Liberetto. “This new word describes the state of mind with which I create my music,” he says. “This word is related to my previous albums, both from a linguistic point of view is through its inference with the terminology of classical music. This emphasizes the freedom that I constantly express with my music and make it an open book. “In Liberetto Lars Danielsson remains true to its musical language and style, often with melancholic melodies, fragmented, the search for new spaces music and a deep sense of lyricism. Ostrom second Danielsson has broadened the spectrum of music and was the best choice, a source of inspiration full of new ideas. It is no coincidence that his music often has anything in common with the EST, as clearly demonstrated Svensk Lat. In this passage Ostrom trio rekindles the energy of the most successful of the last twenty years. The British guitarist John Parricelli, with its pungent unique style, is an old acquaintance from Tarantella, and Arve Henriksen, who has largely proved its reputation among the great trumpeters Scandinavian opera, appearing as guest musicians.
