Cosa significa essere Capitale Europea della Cultura? L’investitura non è la celebrazione dell’eccellenza culturale di un luogo, ma la possibilità di dar vita ad un progetto articolato in 12 mesi dedicato ad arte e cultura che abbia un impatto durevole in termini socioeconomici.

Per questo, la candidatura è evento irripetibile e il progetto avanzato è caratterizzato sia da un forte coinvolgimento del territorio, sia da una marcata dimensione internazionale: una cerniera tra locale e globale, tra tasselli identitari e nuove mappe da tracciare.

Nel corso dell’incontro il progetto di Marseille Provence 2013 verrà descritto e presentato nei dettagli per poi lasciar spazio ad un confronto utile per la costruzione del progetto di Cagliari 2019, per far emergere domande e delineare risposte strategiche.

What it means to be European Capital of Culture ? The endowment is not the celebration of cultural excellence of a place, but the possibility to create a complex project in 12 months dedicated to art and culture that has a lasting impact in socio-economic terms .

For this reason, the application event is unique and advanced design is characterized by both a strong involvement of the territory , both by a marked international dimension : a link between local and global, between anchors of identity and new maps to trace.

During the meeting, the draft Marseille Provence 2013 will be described and presented in detail and then give way to a useful comparison for the construction of the project Cagliari 2019, to bring out questions and outline strategic responses .
