Musicista, dj, produttore, Joy Kitikonti è un artista poliedrico, con molti anni di carriera alle spalle, successi discografici ed artistici; collaborazioni e riconoscimenti; tutte esperienze che gli hanno permesso di diventare l’artista completo che è oggi.
E’ un personaggio riservato, che forse per modestia non ama vantarsi dei propri successi e parlare di sé e lascia spesso che sia la musica a raccontare la sua parte migliore.
Nato in Toscana, ha avuto fin da piccolo una grande passione per la musica, grazie anche all’influenza del padre, musicista dagli anni 70.
Joy inizia la sua carriera nel 1984 come batterista e dj.
La sua vocazione più vera rimane underground, in quel territorio di confine, dove la musica è divertimento e non solo denaro, dove le amicizie tra artisti vanno oltre gli interessi discografici.
Joy appartiene a quel “laboratorio sotterraneo virtuale” situato in quella zona di confine dove, se passa l’espressione, solitamente nasce l’avanguardia.
Nel 2006 ha inaugurato la label “Footloversmusic”, nata per dare spazio ai giovani emergenti.
Start Records è la nuova label dove vedremo nomi di grandi artisti.
Ha collaborato con Hooj Choons, Orion Music, Mindshake, Analytic Trail, Bluefin, Elp Medien, Natura Viva, Presslab, Mazoom Lab, Nervous, Gouta Music, Mtm, Heatflow, Heel Yeah, Audio Esperanto e tante alter ancora. ancora.

Musician, dj, producer, Joy Kitikonti is a versatile artist with many years of career behind him, and artistic success record, collaborations and awards, all experiences that have made him the complete artist he is today.
