sabato 7 settembre, alle ore 20.30, presso Casa Sirio a Selargius, al Km 8,0 della S. S. 387 in direzione Dolianova, nell’ambito della rassegna estiva “Le notti di Sirio”, Sirio Sardegna Teatro ospiterà il Teatro Barbaro con lo spettacolo “Le Metamorfosi”, adattamento da Ovidio, scritto e diretto da Senio G. B. Dattena, in scena, insieme all’autore, l’attrice Maria Loi e il fisarmonicista Maurizio Serra. Tutta l’attività di Sirio Sardegna Teatro è patrocinata dalla Regione Autonoma della Sardegna, Assessorato della pubblica istruzione, beni culturali, informazione, spettacolo e sport.

Se oggi c’è un tema che più di altri è o dovrebbe essere di grande attualità, questo è quello della Metamorfosi. In un momento di grande crisi a livello planetario questo dovrebbe essere non solo un tema di attualità ma un preciso impegno o, come avrebbe detto qualcuno, un imperativo categorico. Metamorfosi come cambiamento, come presa di coscienza, come sguardo nuovo verso ciò che ci attende. Verso il futuro. Talvolta pensare al futuro significa guardarsi indietro, prendere coscienza di ciò che si è perso e, se è possibile, cercare di riconquistarlo con rinnovata coscienza. Questo vale per l’energia. Vale per ciò che mangiamo e per l’aria che respiriamo. Vale per le storie, almeno alcune storie. Almeno per quelle che sono state cibo importante per la nostra formazione di persone che sanno di venire da lontano e che lontano vorrebbero ancora andare. Molte di quelle storie ci vengono dalla mitologia e molte sono state raccontate da Ovidio nelle sue Metamorfosi. Sono storie leggere e profonde, piene di bellezza e crudeltà. Storie che lavorano dentro di noi e ci fanno diversi. Ci aprono insospettati varchi. Ci trasformano. Appunto. Spesso questi meravigliosi racconti sono solo un nome perso nelle nebbie della nostra sempre più fragile memoria. A volte ci ricordano qualcosa ma non sappiamo bene cosa. Sempre però, in un modo che non capiamo ma che in qualche modo riusciamo ad intuire, ci raccontano di noi. Delle nostre metamorfosi, dei nostri sentimenti e delle battaglie del cuore. Lo spettacolo è molto semplice, come semplici sono le storie che raccontiamo. Sono storie, lo abbiamo accennato, bellissime e straordinarie. Storie che ci parlano di un tempo in cui c’erano gli dei .. le ninfe .. i fauni .. Un tempo in cui non era insolito che una ninfa si trasformasse in un frondoso albero di alloro, un giovinetto in un fiore o un assassino in upupa. Cucendo alcune di queste storie abbiamo creato uno spettacolo di narrazione di grande fascino e di grande impatto emotivo a dimostrazione di come la semplicità sia sempre maestra. A raccontarle sono un’attrice, un attore e un musicista. “ Il lavoro sulle “Metamorfosi” di Ovidio nasce da un’appassionata lettura, dal piacere da essa ricavato e dal desiderio di far dono di queste bellissime storie.
C’è nelle “Metamorfosi” un mondo fantastico e morale che non ha bisogno di nessuna attualizzazione perché attualissimo. Un mondo che ci scava dentro e che ci interroga come, prima di noi, ha interrogato poeti, filosofi, scrittori, psicanalisti e intere generazioni di lettori di tutte le epoche e a tutte le latitudini. A noi piacerà lasciarci prendere da queste storie, perderci in esse. Sarà bello ritrovarsi dopo essersi perduti e dimenticati e sarà ancora più bello ritrovarsi diversi. Ogni storia è un viaggio, prima ancora che nelle nostra mente, nella nostra anima, nel nostro mondo interiore e oscuro. Un viaggio di purificazione senza incensi e mantra, senza preghiere e rinunce, senza sensi di colpa e confessioni.
Le “Metamorfosi” ci ricordano che, magari decaduti, siamo tutti figli degli dei e che gli dei sono proprio come noi. Non sarà una consolazione ma è certamente straordinario. Senio G.B. If today there is an issue that more than any other is, or should be of great interest , this is what ‘s Metamorphoses . At a time of great crisis at the global level this should be not only a hot topic but a firm commitment or , as he put it, a categorical imperative . Metamorphosis as change, such as awareness, as fresh look to what lies ahead . Into the future. Sometimes thinking about the future means looking back , become aware of what has been lost , and if you can, try to win him back with renewed awareness . This applies to energy . Applies to what we eat and the air we breathe. Applies to the stories , at least some of the stories . At least for those that have been important food for our training of people who know that they come from far away and would still like to go that far . Many of those stories come to us from mythology and many have been told by Ovid in his Metamorphoses . These are stories to read and deep , full of beauty and cruelty. Stories that work within us and make us different . We open up unsuspected gates . Transform us . That’s it. Often these wonderful stories are only a name lost in the mists of our increasingly fragile memory. Sometimes remind us of something we do not know what. Always, however , in a way that we do not understand but that somehow we can guess, we tell ourselves. Of our metamorphosis of our feelings and battles of the heart. The show is very simple, as simple are the stories we tell . These are stories , we have mentioned, beautiful and extraordinary . Stories that tell us about a time when there were gods .. nymphs .. fauns .. A time when it was not unusual that a nymph transformed into a leafy laurel tree , a young man in a flower or a murderess in hoopoe . Sewing some of these stories we have created a show of storytelling of great charm and great emotional impact as a demonstration of how simplicity is always a teacher. To tell her I’m an actress , an actor and a musician. ” The work on the ” Metamorphoses ” of Ovid was born from a passionate reading , the pleasure derived from it and the desire to make a gift of these beautiful stories.
There is in “Metamorphosis ” a fantasy world and morality that does not need any discount because current. A world that we dig in and that questions like , before us, has questioned poets, philosophers , writers, psychoanalysts and generations of readers of all ages and at all latitudes . We like to give way to these stories, lose ourselves in them . It will be nice to sit after getting lost and forgotten and will be even more nice to be different . Every story is a journey , even more than in our minds, in our souls , in our inner world and obscure. A journey of purification without incense and mantra, prayers and sacrifices, without guilt and confessions.
The “Metamorphosis ” remind us that , perhaps fallen , we are all sons of the gods and that the gods are just like us. It will not be a consolation but it is certainly extraordinary. Senio G.B. Dattena
