L’Associazione Figli d’Arte Medas, in occasione del decennale della sua morte, rende omaggio al grande intellettuale sardo Giuseppe Fiori.
Gianluca Medas racconterà l’Anarchico Schirru di Giuseppe Fiori accompagnato dalle musiche di scena di Andrea Congia, con la partecipazione ed il contributo straordinario dei Kenze Neke appositamente riunitisi per l’occasione per narrare insieme tra Parola e Musica la figura che li ispirò al momento della nascita: Michele Schirru.

Quella di Michele Schirru è la storia di una Persona, di un Popolo, di una Comunità. La dimostrazione che i Totalitarismi, in grado di controllare i meccanismi dell’informazione, possono deformare la verità. Micro-storia e macro-storia si fondono in un affresco letterario novecentesco puntuale, denso e ritmato trasfigurato in uno Spettacolo-Evento, in cui protagoniste sono ancora la Parola e la Musica. Una riflessione rock sulla libertà. Memoria e cronaca si fanno pulsante canto, graffiante battito, irriverente stridere di voci del passato, del presente e del futuro.

Il Libro

L’Anarchico Schirru di Giuseppe Fiori racconta di Michele Schirru, anarchico sardo, che nel 1931 venne condannato a morte dal Tribunale Speciale del Fascismo per aver pensato di uccidere Benito Mussolini.
Pubblicato nel 1983 è diventato un piccolo classico della storiografia italiana, animato da una scrittura attenta alla ricostruzione delle posizioni interne all’Antifascismo nei confronti delle azioni terroristiche e del tirannicidio: da un lato il desiderio di condurre la più dura opposizione al regime, dall’altro la necessità di innescare processi profondamente democratici.

Giuseppe Fiori (Silanus 1923 – Roma 2003)

Giornalista, scrittore e politico italiano. Laureatosi in Giurisprudenza, intraprese la carriera lavorando dapprima all’Unione Sarda e poi passando alla sede Rai di Cagliari. Direttore di Paese Sera fu anche Senatore della Sinistra Indipendente per ben tre legislature. Uomo colto e profondo e vigile indagatore della società che lo circondava, fu autore di numerosi libri. Di grande rilievo sono state le grandi biografie politiche in cui colse gli aspetti più caratterizzanti dei suoi “personaggi”, tra questi, Gramsci, Lussu, Berlinguer.

That Michele Schirru is the story of a person, of a people, of a community. The demonstration that Totalitarianisms, able to control the mechanisms of information, can deform the truth. Micro-and macro-history history merge in a twentieth-century literary fresco punctual, dense and rhythmic transfigured into a Show-Event, in which the protagonists are still the Word and Music. A reflection on freedom rock. Memory and record button are done singing, scratchy beat, irreverent screeching voices of the past, the present and the future.

The Book

The Anarchist Schirru Giuseppe Fiori tells Michele Schirru, anarchist Sardinian, who in 1931 was sentenced to death by the Special Court for having thought of Fascism to kill Benito Mussolini.
Published in 1983 has become a small classic of Italian historiography, animated by writing a careful reconstruction of the internal positions in relation to anti-terrorist actions and tyrannicide: on the one hand, the desire to lead the toughest opposition to the regime, from ‘ alia the need to develop processes profoundly democratic.

Giuseppe Fiori (Silanus 1923 – Rome 2003)

Journalist, writer and politician Italian. He graduated in Law, began his career working first Union Sarda and then passing the RAI headquarters in Cagliari. Director of Paese Sera was also Senator of the Independent Left for three legislatures. A cultured man and deep and vigilant investigator of society that surrounded him, was the author of numerous books. Of great importance were the great political biographies in which he caught the most distinctive features of his “characters,” among them, Gramsci, Lussier, Berlinguer.
