Senza dimenticare un aperitivo o  assaggiare qualche specialità in uno dei tanti ristoranti del marina e del centro storico.

E’ come un assaggio, per far nascere il desiderio di tornare.

Tappe del Gusto nei quartieri storici

Il tour culturale proposto ha come obiettivo la riscoperta del quartiere di Castello, per secoli sede del potere politico, amministrativo ed economico della città. Passeggiando per le antiche e caratteristiche vie del quartiere, sarà rievocata la storia di Castello e delle sue fortificazioni dal periodo pisano fino ai giorni nostri, delle antiche dimore e dei personaggi storici principali che hanno animato la vita del quartiere nel corso dei secoli.

Al termine del percorso, nella splendida cornice della Torre dell’Elefante, gli ospiti potranno degustare una selezione di vini locali accompagnati da prodotti tipici a chilometro zero.

Descrizione del percorso
Simbolo di calma ed equilibrio, il verde è il colore associato alla natura, che in Sardegna si esprime rigogliosa con le piante della macchia mediterranea e le piante officinali. Nel parco archeologico di Tuvixeddu, all’interno della necropoli cartaginese più grande del Mediterraneo recentemente riaperta al pubblico, vi racconteremo non solo la storia della città punica e degli importanti ritrovamenti archeologici dell’area, ma soprattutto dell’uso curativo delle piante e del loro utilizzo nella vita quotidiana dall’epoca antica fino ai giorni nostri, immersi nell’atmosfera di un luogo lontano dalla frenesia della città, dove il tempo sembra essersi fermato.

Il percorso si snoda lungo le pendici di Castello, dai Giardini Pubblici fino al Giardino sotto le mura, passando per l’Ex Scuola all’aperto Mereu e il Viale Regina Elena. Stages of Taste in historic districts

The proposed cultural tour aims to rediscover the district of Castello, for centuries the seat of political power, administrative and economic center of the city. Walking through the old and typical streets of the neighborhood, it will be recalled the history of the castle and its fortifications by the Pisan period to the present day, the old mansions and historical facts that have animated the life of the neighborhood over the centuries.

Description of way
Symbol of calm and balance, green is the color associated with nature, which is expressed in Sardinia with lush Mediterranean plants and herbs. In the archaeological park of Tuvixeddu within the Carthaginian necropolis largest in the Mediterranean recently reopened to the public, will tell not only the story of the Punic city and the most important archaeological finds in the area, but especially the use of healing plants and their use in everyday life from ancient times to the present day, immersed in the atmosphere of a place away from the hustle of the city, where time seems to stand still.

Green paths

Description of way
The route runs along the foot of the Castle, the Public Garden to the Garden under the walls, through the former school outdoor Mereu and Viale Regina Elena. These green spaces that offer a wonderful perspective views of the city of Cagliari, always at the center of Sunday walks. The intent is to make it clear to the visitor that the urban changes, especially in recent years have affected the area in question, by placement of the Public Gardens to the recent opening of the garden under the walls that houses inside the beautiful sculptures of Scioli. But not only. The course aims to provide the visitor with a number of ideas related to contemporary art in its environmental sense, that since the nineties has taken a positive connotation mainly by binding to major urban redevelopment.

In the city of the dead, Tuvixeddu

Description of way
Tuvixeddu is the park just opened by the city of Cagliari. Worth a visit, perhaps adventure and discovery of our identity.
The cavers Association Underground Sardinia, with an urban journey that will unfold in the caves of the hill, mainly outside of the necropolis and the slope of the hill, illustrate the deep history of Cagliari visiting the cemetery and seeing the nearby underground cavities.
Keep us company, citing stories and legends at the going down of the sun, writers and experts of this website identity to Sardinia.
Retrace along the way, the history of the Phoenicians, the Carthaginians and the Romans who used to down the hill, across the quarry, full of holes (hence the name “Tuvixeddu”).
The tour will reveal to adults and children the story less known Tuvixeddu day, accessing the communal areas and those surrounding today that incorporate the graves and tombs.
