LA DROGHERIA DI ODENSE – TEATRO ALKESTIS – CAGLIARI – SABATO 29 DICEMBRETHE GROCERY ODENSE – ALKESTIS THEATRE – CAGLIARI – SATURDAY DECEMBER 29

Sabato 29 Dicembre alle ore 16.00 tutti i bambini (dai 6 i 100 anni) di Cagliari e dintorni  sono invitati a passare una serata magica all’insegna dei sogni che si avverano al Teatro Alkestis di Cagliari, dove torneranno in scena Sabrina Mascia e Verena Knaup in “La drogheria di Odense”, l’omaggio teatrale allo scrittore Hans Christian Andersen che catapulterà grandi e piccini in un mondo fiabesco e misterioso.
Al termine dello spettacolo i bambini potranno soggiornare nella drogheria per fare merenda insieme ad Andersen (Verena Knaup) e la droghiera (Sabrina Mascia).

Lo spettacolo di teatro ragazzi, adatto anche a un pubblico adulto, è liberamente ispirato alla vita e alla poetica dello scrittore danese. La storia è ambientata nel 1819 in un’ipotetica drogheria del villaggio natale di Andersen e ha per protagonisti lo stesso scrittore, all’età di quattordici anni, una burbera quanto prodigiosa droghiera, e Scarcrò, un tenero manichino spaventapasseri.
Le vicende dello spettacolo, per quanto non siano realmente accadute, sono da considerarsi come “pretesto fantastico” per raccontare la biografia, la personalità e la sensibilità poetica di uno dei più amati autori di fiabe e racconti per l’infanzia. In particolare, tratta alcune delle tematiche più ricorrenti nelle opere dell’autore danese; iI diverso, il doppio, il macabro e l’idilliaco, la morte e la vita.

Il testo dello spettacolo è stato scritto da Andrea Meloni nel 2006, nell’ambito delle celebrazioni del bicentario dalla nascita di H. C. Andersen, con il patrocino del Centro Regionale di Documentazione Biblioteche per Ragazzi della Provincia di Cagliari. Nel 2010 lo spettacolo ha debuttato al Teatro Alkestis e, poi, ha replicato negli anni anche nei teatri delle scuole di Cagliari e provincia.

Saturday, December 29th at 16:00 for all children (from 6 to 100 years) of Cagliari and surroundings are invited to spend a magical evening filled with the dreams that come true to Alkestis Theatre of Cagliari, where he will return to the scene Sabrina Mascia and Verena Knaup in “the grocery Odense,” the theatrical homage to the writer Hans Christian Andersen catapult adults and children in a fairytale world and mysterious.
At the end of the show the children stay in the grocery store for a snack along with Andersen (Verena Knaup) and the grocer’s wife (Sabrina Mascia).

The spectacle of children’s theater, suitable for an adult audience, is loosely based on the life and poetry of the Danish writer. The story is set in 1819 in a hypothetical grocery store in the native village of Andersen and players for the writer, at the age of fourteen, a gruff grocer as prodigious, and Scarcrò, a tender dummy scarecrow.
The events of the show, although they are not really happened, are to be considered as a “fantastic opportunity” to tell the biography, personality and poetic sensibility of one of the most beloved authors of fairy tales and children’s stories. In particular, it covers some of the most recurrent themes in the works of Danish author; iI different, the double, the macabre and the idyllic, death and life.

The text of the play was written by Andrea Meloni in 2006 as part of the celebrations of the birth of bicentario H. C. Andersen, under the umbrella of the Regional Centre for Documentation Libraries for Children in the province of Cagliari. In 2010, the show premiered at the Teatro Alkestis and then replied in the years also in theaters and schools Cagliari province.
