Col grande Jazz come protagonista riprenderĂ lunedì 6 Ottobre alle ore 18.00 presso l’Auditorium del Conservatorio di Cagliari, con la seconda serie dei rimanenti quattro concerti in programma, la IV edizione del Festival Pianistico del Conservatorio 2014 dedicata quest’anno al grande Pianista austriaco Friedrich Gulda.
Protagonista della serata con “Memorie di standards” sarĂ Â il pianista Alessandro Di Liberto - uno dei maggiori pianisti Jazz in campo internazionale, docente di Piano Jazz al Conservatorio di Cagliari – affiancato da Nicola Cossu al Contrabbasso e da Daniele Russo alla Batteria.
Giovedì 16 Ottobre sarà la volta del pianista Massimo Lambertini impegnato in un programma con musiche di Haydn e Chopin.
Il concerto di Giovedì 23 Ottobre avrĂ come protagonisti due giovanissimi pianisti cagliaritani, Nicoletta Murgia e Stefano Ferra impegnati in musiche di Beethoven e Ravel. Il quarto ed ultimo concerto del Festival previsto per Mercoledì 29 Ottobre avrĂ come tema il sottotitolo del Festival “…da Bach a Gulda tra libertĂ e improvvisazione…” e vedrĂ protagonista il pianista Stefano Figliola impegnato in un doppio percorso musicale con musiche di Mozart, Ravel e Chopin, ma anche di Brubeck, Bacharach/Evans, Bach (in una propria rielaborazione del celebre corale dalla Cantata n. 147), e con le variazioni sul celebre tema “Light my fire” di Jim Morrison scritte dallo stesso Gulda. Musicisti partners della serata saranno Marco Argiolas al Sax, Massimo Tore al Contrabbasso e Roberto Migoni alla Batteria oltre alla gradita partecipazione del coro di voci bianche del Conservatorio di Cagliari diretto da Enrico di Maira.
Nato da un’idea del pianista Stefano Figliola, docente di Pianoforte al Conservatorio di Cagliari, il Festival propone annualmente al suo interno una serie di manifestazioni di carattere didattico/artistico che vede protagonisti i migliori allievi affiancati dai docenti dello stesso Conservatorio.
Quest’anno, proprio sulla scia di Friedrich Gulda, il programma musicale è di particolare interesse in quanto al repertorio pianistico “tradizionale” è stato affiancato quello più squisitamente jazzistico. Un doppio percorso quindi in grado di soddisfare i palati musicali più diversi.
Il Festival ha preso il via il 12 Marzo scorso con la Masterclass del pianista spagnolo Claudio Martinez-Mehner, docente alla Hochschule di Basilea e all’Accademia “Dino Ciani” di Cortina D’Ampezzo, proseguendo con due conferenze sulla figura artistica di Friedrich Gulda tenute da Miriam Quaquero e Aurora Cogliandro e con una prima serie di sei concerti che hanno visto protagonisti i pianisti Rares Saghin, Amedeo Cannas, Ilaria Vanacore, il “Lov’n Jazz Chamber Trio” formato da Paolo Carrus, Massimo Tore e Roberto Migoni, e ancora i pianisti Andrea Aresti, Andrea Sanna e Francesco Pisu.
Tutti i concerti si terranno all’Auditorium del Conservatorio alle 18.00.

With the great Jazz as the protagonist will resume Monday, October 6 at 18:00 at the Auditorium of the Conservatory of Cagliari, with the second series of the remaining four concerts in the program, the fourth edition of the Festival Piano Conservatory in 2014, dedicated this year to the great Austrian pianist Friedrich Gulda.
The star of the evening with “Memoirs of standards” will be the pianist Alessandro Di Liberto – one of the greatest jazz pianists in the international field, Professor of Jazz Piano at the Conservatory of Cagliari – joined by the Cossu Nicola Bass and Daniel Russo on drums.
Thursday, October 16th will be the turn of the pianist Massimo Lambertini engaged in a program of music by Haydn and Chopin.
The concert of Thursday, October 23 will feature two young pianists from Cagliari, Nicoletta and Stefano Murgia Ferra engaged in music by Beethoven and Ravel. The fourth and final concert of the Festival scheduled for Wednesday, October 29 theme will be the subtitle of the Festival “… from Bach to Gulda between freedom and improvisation …” and will star pianist Stefano Figliola engaged in a double musical journey with music Mozart, Ravel and Chopin, but also to Brubeck, Bacharach / Evans, Bach (in its own reworking of the famous chorale from Cantata no. 147), and variations on the famous theme “Light my Fire” by Jim Morrison written by the same Gulda. Musicians partners of the evening will be Marco Argiolas to Sax, Massimo Tore the bass and Roberto Migoni the battery as well as welcome participation of the children’s choir of the Conservatory of Cagliari directed by Henry of Maira.
The brainchild of pianist Stefano Figliola, professor of piano at the Conservatory of Cagliari, the Festival offers annually inside a series of events on an educational / artistic starring the best students accompanied by teachers of the same Conservatory.
This year, right on the heels of Friedrich Gulda, the music program is of particular interest in the piano repertoire as “traditional” has been joined to the most exquisite jazz. A dual path thus able to satisfy even the most diverse music.
The Festival kicked off on March 12 with the last of the Masterclass Spanish pianist Claudio Martinez-Mehner, a professor at the Hochschule in Basel and at the Academy “Dino Ciani” in Cortina D’Ampezzo, continuing with two lectures on artistic figure of Friedrich Gulda held by Miriam Quaquero and Aurora Cogliandro and with a first series of six concerts that have seen players pianists Rares Saghin, Amedeo Cannas, Ilaria Vanacore, the “Lov’n Jazz Chamber Trio” formed by Paolo Carrus, Roberto and Massimo Tore Migoni, and yet the pianists Aresti Andrea, Andrea Sanna and Francesco Pisu.
All concerts will be held at the Auditorium of the Conservatory at 18.00.
