Liberamente tratto dal romanzo di Lyman Frank Baum “The wizard of Oz – Il mago di OZ”, narra le avventure di Dorothy, una ragazzina che dopo un violento uragano si trova catapultata in un mondo fantastico oltre l’arcobaleno abitato da strani e curiosi personaggi. Nel suo vagare incontrerà uno Spaventapasseri, un Uomo di Latta e un Leone fifone con i quali intraprenderà un percorso irto di ostacoli. Tutti loro hanno però un tratto in comune, sono alla ricerca della felicità. I quattro amici si dovranno confrontare con la perfida Strega dell’Ovest decisa ad impossessarsi delle scarpette magiche che Dorothy ha ricevuto da Glinda, Strega buona del Sud. L’unica soluzione per realizzare i loro desideri è chiedere aiuto al potente e meraviglioso Mago di Oz della lontana città di Smeraldo. Qui scopriranno amaramente che il Mago di Oz altro non è che una Tv che pretende di dare loro quanto serve per essere felici.

Lo spettacolo dal ritmo incalzante è studiato per bambini dai 4 ai 10 anni e per famiglie.
La narrazione della storia, affidata a quattro attori, pupazzi e ombre cinesi, si accompagna a musiche e canzoni.

Freely adapted from the novel by Lyman Frank Baum’s “The Wizard of Oz – The Wizard of OZ ” , tells the adventures of Dorothy , a young girl who, after a violent storm is catapulted into a fantasy world beyond the rainbow inhabited by strange and curious characters . In his wanderings meets a Scarecrow , a Tin Man and a Cowardly Lion with whom embark on a path fraught with obstacles . All of them , however, have one thing in common , they are looking for happiness. The four friends will have to deal with the Wicked Witch of the West decided to take possession of magical shoes that Dorothy received by Glinda , Good Witch of the South The only solution to fulfill their desires is to ask for help to the powerful and wonderful Wizard of Oz the distant city of Emerald . Here you will find bitterly that the Wizard of Oz is nothing but a TV that claims to give them what it takes to be happy.

The fast-paced show is designed for children aged 4 to 10 years and for families.
The narration of the story, carried out by four actors , puppets and shadow puppetry , is accompanied by music and songs .
