Alex Cast e´ il nome d´arte di Alessandro Vaittinen musicista italo-finlandese.

Nato a Cagliari il 7 luglio 1983 inizia il suo viaggio musicale all´eta´di 5 anni seguito all´inizio dal padre per poi continuare a 6 anni lo studio del pianoforte come privatista.
A 12 anni entra all´conservatorio di musica di Cagliari dove studia tromba e pianoforte complementare, ma gia da allora lo stimolo per scrivere la propria musica lo porta ad allontanarsi dall´ambiente classico e comincia a comporre i suoi primi pezzi.
A 17 anni si trasferisce in Finlandia dove comincia a suonare in tutti i pub e ristoranti nella cittadina di Savonlinna per poi spostarsi per prima nelle cittadine vicine sino ad arrivare alla capitale Helsinki e nei centri sciistici in Lapponia.

Nel 2011 partecipa a Finland got Talent dove da subito riscuote una grande curiosita grazie alla voce molto particolare e al modo in cui si esibisce, si piazza come preferito per poi arrivare sino alle semifinali.La societa´di scommesse UNIBET lo mette in primo posto come preferito e lo paragona al cantautore americano divenuto famoso grazie alla serie televisiva Beverly hills 90012 Jamie Walters.

Nel 2012 inizia a collaborare ad un progetto dance con il produttore Finlandese Alex Leander e comincia a scrivere il secondo album all´inizio in Finlandia ma viene contattato dal canale televisivo Finlandese MTV3(canale commerciale piu grande in Finlandia) per partecipare alla serie televisiva ´´Una vacanza alle canarie´´ girata alle isole canarie dove interpreta se stesso e incide 3 pezzi inediti prodotti dal canale televisivo dove tra l´altro collabora con Ramon Castillo ( Cantante che rappresento la Spagna all´euro visum del 2006 arrivando all 8 posto, postazione mai raggiunta dalla spagna prima) La serie televisiva verra´ l`anciata il 18 giugno in Finlandia e sara in onda tutta l´estate sino alla fine di agosto.

Alex cast and ‘the stage name of Alexander Vaittinen Italian-Finnish musician.
