W Techno continua il suo viaggio tra le scene più rappresentative del “techno mondo”. Lasciato alle spalle l’evento dello scorso mese che ha visto la rappresentazione della scena di Detroit, si appresta a giocare “vicino a casa”, con una tappa su Roma.

Nei primi anni 90’ la capitale si contraddistingue non solo per storia e bellezze , ma andando oltre la solita veste. Culla di un nuovo movimento, quello techno, che da li a oggi ha esportato il “made in Italy” un po’ ovunque. Un periodo in cui Roma ha avuto davvero tutto: artisti, etichette, distribuzione, un buon negozio di dischi, i rave. Insomma, tutto ciò che stava alla base di una scena solida e promettente.
A distanza di anni, rimangono forti i ricordi dei riferimenti più grandi, la capitale continua ad essere eccelsa. W Techno ha l’opportunità di raccontare con due eventi rappresentativi in una serata, sia ciò che in parte fu, sia ciò che rappresenta ora, ospitando per l’occasione due nomi per noi singolari in tal senso.

Il Mood Club rimane il riferimento di W Techno in seconda battuta, dalle 23.30.
L’ospite dell’evento notturno è DONATO DOZZY. Produttore romano, nome tutt’altro che nuovo alle orecchie più attente e alla ribalta negli ultimi anni grazie al supporto di Resident Advisor, che lo ha conclamato tra i primi 50 djs del mondo, e posizionato al primo posto come miglior album dell’anno 2012, insieme al socio Neel con il progetto Voices From The Lake

Simbolo della sua figura è sicuramente l’intimo approccio nei suoi dj-set. Spirito e precisione tra ritmiche ipnotiche e cura maniacale del suono, tanto da avvalersi la considerazione degli eventi da club e festival più rispettati del globo.
Veri e propri viaggi, lunghi ed intensi, in grado di spaziare su differenti piani che rispecchiano le sue stesse produzioni. E poi un folto numero di realizzazioni che lo hanno visto attivo su etichette come Prologue, Mental Groove, Fullpanda, Aquaplano, Spectrum Spools, spesso insieme a nomi interessanti come Peter Van Hoesen, Mike Parker, Dino Sabattini..

Un artista italiano unico e brillante grazie alla luce propria.

L’evento notturno sarà preceduto dall’appuntamento presso il Bastione S.Remy, più precisamente negli spazi interni del Caffe degli Spiriti, dove con un aperitivo ci sarà l’occasione di scambiare qualche battuta con lo storico produttore romano MAX DURANTE. L’incontro, chiamato “C’era una volta Roma”, ripercorrerà attraverso brevi racconti, video e feticci del tempo, la storia della nascita della scena techno italiana, a Roma.
La figura di Max Durante, i suoi progetti, a techno capitolina, i suoi riferimenti e poi ancora l’acid, il rave. Un incontro informale, tra amici che nutrono lo stesso interesse. Capire quando, come e perché tutto questo è successo in questa città. Un ricordo, ma anche una buona forma di rispetto per chi ne ha fatto parte.

W Techno continues its journey through the most representative scenes of ” techno world.” Leaving behind the event last month which saw the representation of the scene of Detroit , is preparing to play ” close to home” , with a stop in Rome .

In the early 90 ‘ the capital is distinguished not only for its history and beauty , but going beyond the usual robe. Cradle of a new movement, what techno , which today has exported them to the “Made in Italy” a little ‘ everywhere. A period in which Rome had really all artists , labels , distribution, a good record store , rave . In short, everything that was the basis for a solid and promising scene .
Years later , the memories remain strong references largest , the capital continues to be excellent . Techno W has the opportunity to tell with two representative events in an evening, and what was in part , is what is now , for the occasion by hosting two names for us unique in this regard.

The Mood Club remains the benchmark of W Techno in second place, from 23.30 .
The guest of the night is Donato Dozzy . The night event will be preceded by appointment at the Bastion S.Remy , more precisely in the interior of the Spirits Caffe , where there will be a cocktail with the opportunity to exchange a few words with the historic Roman writer DURING MAX . The meeting, called ” Once Upon a Time Rome” , will trace through short stories , videos and fetishes of time, the story of the birth of the Italian techno scene in Rome.
The figure of Max Durante, its projects , to techno Capitoline , its references and then again the acid, the rave . An informal meeting between friends who harbor the same interest. Understand when , how and why all this has happened in this city. A memory, but also a good form of respect for those who have been part of.
