Cagliari è stata una delle città maggiormente ferite dai bombardamenti americani del ’43 e tutt’oggi ne porta evidenti segni nel tessuto urbano storico.

Vuoti a volte colmati da vegetazione spontanea e rimasti pressoché immutati, a volte sostituiti dall’impietosa edilizia civile degli anni ’60 , a volte ancora riorganizzati secondo le nuove esigenze della città.

Queste tracce visibili ma soprattutto intellegibili, mostrano una ferita ma anche una rinascita.

Sono il simbolo di un corpo – quello cittadino – che non dimentica ma che neppure resta intrappolato nei tristi avvenimenti di quei giorni.

Una Cagliari Fenice che oggi compie settant’anni. Il tour della Trip Sardinia parte proprio da quest’idea: ricordare i bombardamenti ma soprattutto la forza vitale, culturale e sociale con la quale la Città ha saputo rinascere da essi.

Empty sometimes filled by natural vegetation and remained virtually unchanged , at times replaced dall’impietosa civil 60s , sometimes even reorganized according to the new needs of the city.

These tracks visible but mostly intelligible , show a wound but also a rebirth.

They are the symbol of a body – the citizen – but that does not forget that even remain trapped in the sad events of those days .

A Cagliari Phoenix now in its seventy. The tour starts from the Trip Sardinia idea : remember the bombing but especially the life force , cultural and social with which the City has been able to revive them.
