BOSA

Carrasegare Osincu

The Carnival of Bosa is above party, and is the only calendar appointment is not connected to the Catholic liturgy.

It ‘a party ever, to bring together all kinds of ceremonial behavior, is a party that, in addition to promoting the renewal of a community cohesion, has in it the condition to be seen for its merits spectacular.

On “Carrasegare ‘Osincu”, in particular, reveals itself as the party of all, in which the actors breaking into homes and the community poured into the streets, and in addition to this is undoubtedly the feast of abundance, rice and enjoyment . Carnival of Bosa

Social relationships, apparently, are less hierarchical by repetition collective ideology of the party “knows mascherada” (the masquerade), in fact, is used by rich and poor, albeit with different methods and with the assumption of a rule ‘open holiday mechanisms of conflict.

In fact the event of a world turned upside down suspension allows the illusion of social rules and allows you to ridicule, under forms of sexual licentiousness, norms and social institutions: the mask of “S’Attittidu” is an example of avoidance behaviors customary , as is the obscenity verbal and figural used in the form of language and gestures.

On Carrasegare ‘Osincu is a period of “institutionalized disorder”, a complex of rites of reversal but also a celebration of aggression, destruction and desecration.

In the Carnival of Bosa-satirical parody aspects are very numerous and allow the detection of both taste for storytelling, and the staging of events considered deviant on people’s lives, as well as protests to the centers of power.

In this sense, the use of humor and ridicule he enrolled in the intervention periodic redemption ritual a technique that works to restore the cohesion of a community group is highly threatened in its internal balance, the continuing implosion of social conflicts and Exemptions from the practice of traditional life.

For this reason it is very important during the Carnival bosano, the use of verbal aggression carried out by performing satirical songs (“cantones de carrasegare”) compounds as a model of religious gosos, which were and are widespread throughout the community and allow you to vent, without much damage, criticism and opposition for too long, just think.

In addition, the traveling exhibition of pantomime, over the three main days of Carnival, we would point out that any parody, even the smallest, is always built like a piece of the comic world and unified whole and that, ultimately, this comic universality manifests itself much more clearly and logically, in the manner of carnival rituals and performances, and parodies linked to them, to direct them to the restoration of the great social body and its cyclical rebirth, mobilizing, in general, solidarity expressive of an entire people (social strata, age, etc..), and even the means and animals auxiliary of human labor.

On carrasegare ‘Osincu had, and maintains a large extent, the characteristic celebration of spontaneous and organized, in the sense that although there groups that deal to manage some moments of the festival, for example, the songs, the masquerades, dances, the community participates in the second features completely improvised

Masking was enough turn the jacket inside out and wear it, turn on Bonette (the cap) and sprinkle the face with soot cork (oltigiu bruzhiadu);

For the songs was enough to identify any topic of everyday life, to exchange jokes and teasing rhymes with elegant, at times, very colorful.

As in the entire region of Bosa Planargia the entire cycle of Carnival is called Carrasegare.

This term is also used to refer to the entire period from the eve of the Feast of St. Anthony (January 16) when you turn “on fogulone” (the great fire), the last three days of the final and most important festival on Sunday , Monday and Tuesday of Carnival.

SUNDAY AND MONDAY ‘THEATRE

We improvise. Thanks to its peculiar wit and irony, bosano creates performances that touch the most varied themes, full of humor and satire, on slices of daily life of the medieval quarter.

It takes place on Tuesday morning in the streets of the historic center and in C.so Vittorio Emanuele, considered the living bosano, and is the most transgressive ritual of the Carnival.

Main actor is S’attittadora “mourner who recites the wailing funeral, dressed in black, his face painted black with” S’oltigiu brugiadu “(burnt cork), wearing” Sa bunnedda “(long skirt, black) and” Ss’isciallu cun sas randas “(shawl with fringes), in her arms an infant dying or in a basket or a wheelbarrow, usually represented by a doll without limbs, blood-stained in the groin area, S ‘Attitidu or a foul in wood or cardboard or large tubers in the shape of the male member and talking to bystanders, in a falsetto voice, the man so masked, alludes to sexual and asks women with breasts unu ticchirigheddu ‘and milk for the baby dying at the same time, the petition to allow him to accarezzarglielo.
