BAROQUE CONTEMPORARY – CAGLIARI – 7 TO 21 SEPTEMBER

From 07 to 21 September 2012 will host the exhibition event dedicated to the paintings of the Baroque Peruvian school of Cuzco, revived by contemporary artists.

The observation of Baroque South America, with the peculiarities of his Madonnas and his angels, as well as considerations religioseestorico / aesthetic, inspired by similarities and parallels with the social and cultural history of Sardinia, also for about four centuries influenced not only politically, Spain.

Hence the curiosity to propose a single project in two schools of art, while the expression of moments in history and different artistic evolutions, have much to talk in terms of content.

To achieve this it is proposed to contemporary artists to confront the Andean Baroque acting on and with it according to his own vision.

Roberta Baioni, Sonia Carlini, Giomarco Cinnamon, Marco Ceraglia, Giovanna Diana, Simone Dulcis, Stefano Fanni, Valentina Garau, Lea Gramsdorff, Pink Pinna, Marilena Pitturru, Lorenzo Vacca and the anonymous school of Cuzco.

Wednesday, September 19 h. 18, the Uruguayan poet Norberto Silva Itza declaim some of his poems in the Quechua language.
