Benvenuti ad Atzara. Il vostro viaggio nella nostra tradizione parte dal Museo Antonio Ortiz Echagüe. Qui riceverete tutte le informazioni per visitare le cortes e vi verranno indicati i luoghi nel centro storico dove potrete assistere alle dimostrazioni della lavorazione del ferro, del legno, del formaggio, del pane, dei dolci; se poi siete degli incontentabili curiosi, potrete farvi accompagnare dalle guide alla scoperta di tutto il patrimonio che orgogliosamente custodiamo. Se date uno sguardo nelle sale espositive del Museo, capirete perché Atzara è considerata la “culla dei pittori”: la collezione di opere qui custodita vi parlerà infatti di alcuni artisti spagnoli che casualmente, durante il Giubileo del 1900 a Roma, notarono la delegazione dei nostri compaesani che indossava il tipico costume. Di lì a poco il Costumbrismo si impadronirà prepotentemente dello scenario culturale del nostro piccolo centro, condizionandone indelebilmente lo sviluppo. È grazie a queste vicende che i nostri abitanti di inizio ‘900, per quanto ancora molto penalizzati perché troppo isolati dal resto dell’Italia e nonostante fossero affaccendati nell’accudire i preziosi vigneti distesi nelle
soleggiate colline, poterono respirare un’aria magica, il frutto dall’incontro per le vie tra i carri carichi di uva e i pittori che con pennelli e cavalletti cercavano di immortalarli. Da una parte gli atzaresi ospitali e laboriosi, dall’altra gli artisti entusiasti di poterne narrare su tela la serena quotidianità. A Cortes Apertas vi vogliamo quindi raccontare la nostra storia con le tre componenti fondamentali che l’hanno segnata: pittura, vino, costume. E vediamolo allora, questo costume, vediamo nella mostra a esso dedicata presso la Casa Bartolomeo Demurtas (guarda caso l’allora Sindaco e a capo della fortunata “spedizione” del Giubileo) se veramente, con le sue straordinarie associazioni di colori, rappresenta una fotografia astratta su tessuto del nostro particolare e luminoso paesaggio. Scoprite il segreto del caratteristico copricapo femminile, la ricchezza dei ricami, il senso di elegante importanza di quello maschile, quasi che, siccome troppo graziosa la donna atzarese, ci fosse uno sforzo infinito per potersi elevare al suo fianco. Se vi spostate al Museo del Vino potrete partecipare a incontri sul mangiare sano, respirare la genuina atmosfera della poesia in lingua sarda, e in “sa domo de su binu” osservare gli strumenti, gli attrezzi e le tecniche che, praticamente da quando esiste Atzara, utilizziamo e sviluppiamo per ottenere il prodotto che più ci caratterizza: il vino. E il vino lo troverete nell’immancabile giro di tutte le Cortes, con quello di proprietà che si affianca a quello pluripremiato delle Cantine locali.
Quando vi vorrete fermare troverete conforto in uno dei numerosi e caratteristici punti ristoro che vi faranno degustare le specialità tipiche locali, ce n’è per tutti i gusti. A questo punto non vi resta che iniziare, per cui vi auguriamo buona permanenza nel cuore dell’ospitalità sarda!

SABATO 23 NOVEMBRE
Ore 10.00 – Apertura delle Cortes.
Ore 10.30 – Museo del Vino. Incontro di Slow Food con gli studenti del territorio per promuovere l’interesse legato al mangiar sano e al bere consapevole come portatori di piacere, cultura, tradizioni, identità.
Museo A. Ortiz Echague. “Mille modi di dire paesaggio”: laboratorio didattico per ragazzi delle scuole medie di Atzara.
DOMENICA 24 NOVEMBRE
Ore 9.30 – Apertura delle Cortes e delle Mostre con dimostrazioni lungo tutto il percorso della lavorazione
artigianale del ferro, del legno, del formaggio e dei prodotti tipici locali. Inizio delle visite guidate.
Ore 11,00 – Museo del Vino. Santu Andria: tradizionale apertura della prima botte di vino nuovo e benvenuto ai visitatori.
Ore 12.00 – Pranzo nei tipici punti ristoro situati lungo il percorso.
Ore 20.00 – Chiusura della manifestazione

Welcome to Atzara . Your journey in our tradition started by the Museum Antonio Ortiz Echagüe . Here you will receive all the information to visit the cortes and you will see the places in the historic center where you can watch demonstrations of the working of iron , wood, cheese, bread , cakes , then if you are an insatiable curious, you can accompany you by the guides to discover the whole heritage proudly guard . If you look in the exhibition halls of the Museum, you’ll understand why Atzara is considered the “cradle of painters” : the collection of works housed here you will talk about some Spanish artists who eventually , during the Jubilee of 1900 in Rome , noted the delegation of our countrymen wearing the typical costume. Soon the Costumbrismo will take hold strongly the cultural scene of our small town , indelibly influencing development. It is thanks to these events that our population of ‘900 , although still severely penalized because too isolated from the rest of Italy and despite being busy in looking after the precious vineyards lying in
sunny hills , they could breathe an air of magic , the fruit of the encounter on the streets of wagons loaded with grapes and painters with brushes and easels trying to immortalize them . On the one hand Atzara hospitable and industrious, the other artists on canvas excited to be able to tell the serene daily life. A Cortes Apertas then we want to tell our story with the three fundamental components that have marked : painting, wine, costume. And then let’s see it , this costume , we see in the exhibition devoted to it at the Bartholomew House Demurtas (coincidentally the then Mayor and head of the successful ” dispatch” of Jubilee ) if you really , with its unique associations of colors, is a photograph abstract of the fabric of our particular and bright landscape . Discover the secret of the characteristic female headdress , the richness of embroidery, the elegant sense of importance of the male , as if , because too pretty woman atzarese , there was an effort to infinity in order to elevate his side. If you move to the Wine Museum can participate in meetings on healthy eating , breathing the atmosphere of genuine poetry in the Sardinian language , and “sa de domo of binu ” observe the instruments , tools and techniques , practically since there Atzara we use and develop to get the product that best characterizes us : wine. And the wine you’ll find it in the inevitable rounds of all the Cortes, with the property that exists alongside that of the award-winning Local wineries .
