ALLA SCOPERTA DEL MONTE LINAS – DOMENICA 9 FEBBRAIO 2014DISCOVERING LINAS MOUNTAIN – SUNDAY FEBRUARY 9,2014

Domenica scorsa un’altra bellissima esperienza, in giro tra i boschi e le panoramiche cime del Monte Arci sui sentieri del Parco dell’Ossidiana, poi, a gran richiesta, caffè e Cattedrale ad Ales e visita con degustazioni al caseificio artigianale sulla Giara sopra Gonnostramatza.

Questa domenica saremo sul Monte Linas.
Il percorso (tra i diversi che facciamo sul Linas), come spesso accade, sarà confermato in base alle previsioni meteo, ma è molto probabile che si tratti del più alto di quota (sopra i 1000 metri) tra tutti quelli che facciamo nel sud della Sardegna: “le cime e Baita Linas”. Infatti, il meteo attualmente promette pioggia e temperature alte sino a sabato e bel tempo da domenica.
Forse, sfumerà “nordic walking sulla neve”, per cui abbiamo programmato la vetta più alta nel periodo statisticamente più freddo dell’anno (i giorni della merla).
Entusiasti per la precedente escursione nel Sinis, ci accompagneranno nuovamente gli operatori di una emittente televisiva sarda. L’escursione è pensata per essere adattata a tutti i livelli di allenamento: i complessivi 15km circa sono infatti suddivisi in due fasi (prima e dopo pranzo) ed il percorso a piedi partirà in quota, dove arriveremo con il supporto, nell’ultimo tratto, di alcuni fuoristrada.

In cima troveremo un lauto ristoro (facoltativo, al costo di 8,00 euro) organizzato grazie al patrocinio dell’amministrazione comunale di Gonnosfanadiga da un manipolo di produttori locali di pani, salumi, formaggi, olive, vino, dolci. Un esperienza unica, affacciati sull’intera Sardegna meridionale.

Visti gli aspetti logistici organizzativi, ti raccomando di confermare quanto prima la tua presenza e quella dei tuoi amici.

ATTREZZATURA CONSIGLIATA: abbigliamento a strati e traspirante; consigliate scarpe basse da hiking, ma sono sufficienti ginniche con suola non troppo liscia. Uno scacciacqua visto il periodo è sempre consigliato.

The path ( between different we do on the Linas ) , as often happens , it will be confirmed according to the weather , but it is very likely that it is the highest altitude ( above 1000 meters ) among all those we do in the south of Sardinia , ” the peaks and Linas Baita ” . In fact, the current weather promises rain and high temperatures until Saturday and beautiful weather on Sunday .
Perhaps, smudge ” Nordic walking in the snow ,” so we planned the highest peak in the period statistically coldest year (days of the blackbird ) .
Enthusiastic about the previous excursion into the Sinis , will accompany us again operators a broadcaster Sardinia. The tour is designed to be adapted to all levels of training: the total of 15km are in fact divided into two phases ( before and after lunch ) and the walking trail will start at the top , where we will arrive with support , in the last section , of some off-road .

RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT : layered clothing and breathable, recommended by hiking shoes , but they are sufficient soled gym not too smooth . One scacciacqua given the period is always recommended.
