- Presentazione:
Il workshop prende ispirazione dagli sketch della fortunata serie televisiva Monty Python’s Flying Circus andata in onda sulla BBC a cavallo degli anni 70.
Una forte commistione di generi, un’acuta ironia, ritmo, reiterazione del ridicolo, situazioni assurde e verosimili che condividono la stessa scena e meta-teatralità sono alcuni degli elementi che caratterizzano questa serie televisiva. Durante il workshop, lo studio e la messa in scena degli sketch del “Circus” forniranno ai partecipanti la possibilità di approfondire e sviluppare la propria prontezza scenica, il ritmo, la creatività emotiva e narrativa, la creazione del personaggio e la sua esasperazione in chiave grottesca ed espressionista. Inoltre durante il workshop per creare l’effetto “straniante” dei Python ci serviremo dell’analisi di noti testi teatrali che verranno agiti e contestualizzati in realtà di loro non propria appartenenza. Allo stesso modo una sezione di lavoro sarà dedicata allo studio di alcune immagini fotografiche o pittoriche che verranno “animate e agite” per creare contesti e sviluppare rapporti tra i partecipanti in tema con lo stile “Flying Circus”
L’obiettivo concreto del Workshop è di fornire ai partecipanti gli strumenti necessari per non restare impreparati e cadere in fallo qualora alla propria porta si presentasse “Il Tristo Mietitore”.

Prima dell’inizio del workshop e previa ricezione di un indirizzo di posta, ai partecipanti verranno inviati dei testi che si rielaboreranno a lezione.

- Presentation:
The workshop is inspired by the sketch of the hit television series Monty Python’s Flying Circus aired on the BBC in the years around 70.
A strong mix of genres, keen irony, rhythm, repetition of the ridiculous, absurd situations and credible information that share the same stage and meta-theatricality are some of the elements that characterize this television series. During the workshop, the study and the staging of the sketch of the “Circus” will provide participants with the opportunity to deepen and develop their readiness stage, rhythm, creativity and emotional narrative, character creation, and his exasperation in key grotesque and expressionist. Also during the workshop to create the effect of “alienating” of Python, we will use the analysis of well-known plays that will shake and context of them do not actually own membership. Similarly, a section of work will be devoted to the study of some photographic or pictorial images that will “animate and act” to create contexts and develop relationship between the participants in keeping with the style of “Flying Circus”
The concrete objective of the workshop is to provide participants with the necessary tools to avoid being unprepared and fall into foul if your door is presented “The Grim Reaper”.

Before the start of the workshop, and following receipt of an e-mail will be sent to the participants of the texts that are elaborated previously in class.
