Ultimo Atto, di Anna Langhoff, fu presentato per la prima volta nel Teatro Gorki, diretto dalla stessa autrice. È un dramma che si sviluppa durante l’allestimento di un’opera, nel momento in cui il regista riceve una visita da parte dello scrittore/drammaturgo. Un ritratto crudele e comico sulle relazioni di potere nel teatro, uno sguardo scarno sulle pratiche della cultura teatrale e la conoscenza o l’ignoranza che di esse abbiamo.

Ultimo Atto è completato da L’Arte del Futuro, di Alexej Schipenko, un testo dove si parla dell’arte, di Dio, della morte, del mondo, dei nostri desideri e delle nostre paure.

Messo in scena nel 2006, recentemente rivisto e ricostruito in maniera differente, perché sono cambiate le nostre “linee di partenza” e il nostro “momento politico”. Il che ha anche condizionato la nostra scelta. Lo spettacolo mantiene e approfondisce la “discussione” sul teatro, sulla struttura teatrale, le sue relazioni interne di potere e la costante ricerca di nuovi segni, di altre immagini, di nuove forme. Un incessante cammino di creazione artistica, verso il futuro, verso un’Arte del futuro. Continuiamo a voler coinvolgere il pubblico in questo. Collocandolo come attore della storia, come attore cittadino compromesso con il mondo. Non c’è salvezza. Se moriamo noi (gli artisti), esso (il pubblico) non si salva. Il Caos si installerà a partire dalla Morte dell’Arte.

Con questo lavoro diamo continuità alle linee che abbiamo cominciato a sviluppare con “Concerto “à la carte”, di Franz Xaver Kroetz. Il non teatro. L’esplorazione dell’idea di tempo teatrale. L’approssimazione alla vita e al confronto con il pubblico in una prospettiva di scardinamento della comodità. Se la vita è difficile, la vita teatrale è ogni volta più drammatica. E tutti noi (attori e pubblico) percepiremo ciò che sta per accadere, con la pena di essere spettatori della nostra morte.

Last Act , Anna Langhoff , was presented for the first time in Gorki Theater , directed by the same author . It is a drama that develops during the preparation of a work, when the director receives a visit from the writer / playwright. A portrait cruel and comic relations of power in the theater , a look skinny on the practices of theater culture and knowledge or ignorance that they have.

Last Act is complemented by The Art of the Future, by Alexej Schipenko , a text which speaks of art, of God, of death, of the world , our desires and our fears .

Staged in 2006, recently revised and rebuilt in a different way , because it has changed our ” starting line ” and our ” political moment ” . This has also influenced our choice. The show maintains and deepens the “discussion” about the theater , the theater structure , its internal relations of power and the constant search for new signs, more pictures , new forms . An endless journey of artistic creation, towards the future, towards an art of the future. We continue to want to engage the public in this . Placing it as an actor in history, as an actor citizen compromise with the world. There is no salvation . If we die we (the artists) , it (the public) do not save . Chaos will install from the Death of Art .

With this work we give continuity to the lines that we have begun to develop with “Concert ” à la carte ” by Franz Xaver Kroetz . The theater does not . The exploration of the idea of ​​theatrical time . The approximation to the life and comparison with the public with a view to undermining of comfort. If life is hard , life is theatrical each time more dramatic. And all of us ( actors and audience ) will perceive what is going to happen , with the penalty to be spectators of our death.
