Opens Friday, November 23, 2012 at 18:30 at the community center of art and culture Castello San Michele in Cagliari, the contemporary art exhibition Six Memos. The exhibition, curated by Erica Olmetto, takes place from 23 November 2012 to 13 January 2013, inspired by a project of Daniel Ledda devoted to notes and debated “Memos” by Italo Calvino and will include, among other artistic proposals, six events during which artists are invited to participate through various forms of expression and the creation of site-specific.

Installations, sound and action will be directed to establish a dialogue with the audience by involving them in the performance that will intersect the six days of the festival event. Visitors will assist in this way to “improvisations sound” of the Collective Snake_Platform who will perform simultaneously or in alternation to performers Federico Cozzucoli, Francesca Falchi, ElleplusElle, to name just a few. Interventions, therefore, will be inspired by the American Lessons (the original title is “Six Memos for the Next Millennium”), never held by Calvin at Harvard University because he died before, and six characteristics that he identified and described in much discussed notes and often interpreted by critics as related to quality literature, but, in fact, found in every aspect of contemporary reality. At Lightness, Quickness, Exactitude, Visibility, Multiplicity and Consistency, are closely related to the work of the artists to the permanent exhibition, which opens on November 23 always 18:30 and will be open on the first floor of the Castle.
During the event, will be exhibited video installations of artists Silvio Giordano, Federico Cozzucoli, María Dominguez Alba, video and photographic works of the group ElleplusElle and Askos, the dioramas of Paolo Ollano, facilities for Daniele Ledda, the graphic works of Jorge Garcia, new trials Veronica Gambula.
