10° GIORNATA NAZIONALE DEL TREKKING URBANO – TRA STAMPACE E MARINA – CAGLIARI – GIOVEDI 31 OTTOBRE 201310th NATIONAL URBAN TREKKING DAY – STAMPACE AND MARINA – CAGLIARI – THURSDAY OCTOBER 31

In occasione della X Giornata Nazionale del Trekking Urbano che si terrà a Cagliari (e in contemporanea in altre 32 città italiane) il prossimo 31 ottobre 2013, Sardegna AlternAttiva propone un percorso speciale tra gli scorci più suggestivi dei quartieri storici di Stampace e Marina: dall’Anfiteatro romano si percorrerà il viale Sant’Ignazio verso la villa di Tigellio, complesso residenziale di epoca romana. Da questo punto il tragitto proseguirà verso via Portoscalas e, accedendo dalla Porta dello Sperone, si entrerà nella parte medievale.
Si scoprirà la storia delle chiese e delle cripte, inserite tra le caratteristiche vie del quartiere: la chiesa di San Michele, la cripta di Santa Restituta e la chiesa di Sant’Efisio. Dalle scale di fronte l’Ospedale Civile si scenderà verso via Santa Margherita, quindi piazza Yenne dove Carlo Felice ci indicherà la strada da seguire: via Baylle, alla volta del quartiere “Marina”.
Si visiterà la chiesa di Sant’Agostino e, passando per via Savoia, la chiesa del Santo Sepolcro. Da via Barcellona, dove si potrà cogliere uno splendido scorcio del porto, si arriverà verso la via di Sant’Eulalia, dove è prevista la visita alla chiesa. In seguito, dalle scalette di via Concezione, si attraverserà via Cavour per chiudere nel piazzale del Consiglio Regionale.

Il Trekking Urbano è diventato in questi dieci anni un’occasione imperdibile per gli amanti di una
moderata attività sportiva all’insegna dell’avventura, grazie a percorsi che coniugano la salubrità di
attività all’aria aperta, con la scoperta dell’arte e della bellezza dei centri storici.

www.alternattiva.netOn the occasion of the Tenth National Urban Trekking Day to be held in Cagliari ( and at the same time in other Italian cities 32 ) on 31 October 2013, Sardinia Alternattiva proposes a special path between the most charming views of the historic districts of Stampace and Marina: from ‘ Roman Amphitheatre proceed along the driveway toward the house of St. Ignatius Tigellio , residential complex of the Roman era . From this point the route continues towards and away Portoscalas , accessing the Gate of the Spur , you will enter in the medieval part .
You will find the history of the churches and crypts , inserted between the characteristic streets of the neighborhood , the church of San Michele , the crypt of Santa Restituta and the church of Sant’Efisio . From the stairs in front of the Civil Hospital will drop towards Via Santa Margherita , then Piazza Yenne where Carlo Felice will show us the way forward : via Baylle , at the time of the district “Marina” .
We will visit the church of Sant’Agostino and , passing by Savoy, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Away from Barcelona , where you can catch a great view of the harbor , it will lead you towards the way of St. Eulalia, where you will visit the church. As a result , the ladders on the Immaculate Conception, we will cross Via Cavour to close in the forecourt of the Regional Council .

Urban trekking has become in the past ten years a unique opportunity for lovers of a
moderate sport of adventure , thanks to paths that combine the wholesomeness of
outdoor activities , with the discovery of art and beauty of historic centers .
