Sighi, singin’ mette in musica storie di donne, delle loro preoccupazioni e difficoltà nella vita di tutti i giorni. Sono paure di ieri e di oggi: le blatte e i topi in casa, le pulizie domestiche e i ragni sul soffitto, la paura delle corna, dei fantasmi, delle streghe, la paura della guerra e della fame. La sete di serenità ciclicamente rovescia i valori e ciò che un tempo era stato fonte di paura diventa poi, nel confronto, quasi desiderabile: così si ripensa ai bei tempi andati in cui le blatte erano nere e non volavano, mentre ora sono rosse o bionde, hanno le ali e volano!
