CAGLIARI FIXED GEAR È LIETA DI PRESENTARVI LA  2° ALLEYCAT RACE DELLA CITTA’ DI CAGLIARI.

Alleycat race è una corsa nata spontaneamente nell’ambiente dei bike messenger e tesa a simulare il loro lavoro giornaliero, ogni giorno è diverso e per questo motivo ogni gara è differente.
Il percorso di solito è reso noto pochi minuti prima della partenza se non addirittura durante la gara, per cui il senso dell’orientamento diventa più importante della semplice pedalata.
Spesso esiste un “tema” della corsa come i rapinatori della Milano Violenta o le coppiette della Bulli a Pupe, ma non è necessario, a volte nei checkpoint basta farsi firmare un foglio, altre bisogna fare cose strane, tipo bere alcolici, cambiare una camera d’aria di una bici, indossare vestiti buffi, insomma spazio alla fantasia e alla cattiveria degli organizzatori.
Come i bike messenger utilizzano bici differenti a seconda dei propri gusti e preferenze si può correre con qualunque tipo di velocipede, dalla bici da corsa alla mountainbike, la fissa è utile se non indispensabile solo nelle garette successive alla main race.

CAGLIARI FIXED GEAR is PROUD TO PRESENT THE RACE OF THE CITY 2 Alleycat ‘CAGLIARI.

Alleycat race is a race born spontaneously in the environment of the bike messenger and intended to simulate their daily work, every day is different and that is why every race is different.
The path is usually announced a few minutes before departure or even during the race, so the sense of direction becomes more important than simply pedaling.
