12° Rally dei Nuraghi e del Vermentino, countdown iniziato

Gli attivissimi uomini della Rassinaby Racing guidati da Andreino Menicucci, sono pronti: la 12° edizione del Rally dei Nuraghi e del Vermentino sta per andare in scena, iscrizioni aperte, big attesi in rampa e adrenalina in dirittura di partenza. Tutto è pronto per ripetere il successo dello scorso anno. Il record d’iscritti delle scorse edizioni fotografa una gara amata non solo dai rallisti isolani, che stanno perfezionando le iscrizioni, ma anche da tanti piloti in arrivo da oltre Tirreno, per i quali grazie alla collaborazione con la Sardinia Ferries, sono state messe in campo agevolazioni importanti per il trasporto di uomini e mezzi nel periodo della gara.

PERCORSO. Il percorso storicamente apprezzato da sportivi e pubblico, quest’anno sarà ancora più spettacolare. La partenza è per le ore 15.00 di sabato 13 aprile, dalla centralissima Piazza del Popolo, poi le speciali. Nove prove speciali, alcune considerate storiche, per le quali non basta avere mezzi performanti, ma occorre preparazione fisica, abilità e controllo.

LE PROVE . La prova più attesa è la prova Berchidda, che attraverserà il centro urbano. “Berchidda”, al suo secondo passaggio, offrirà anche la possibilità di un gara notturna, iniziando alle ore 20,18 permetterà infatti l’uso di fari alti per le auto in gara. Fra le prove la storica Ponte Diana sempre molto spettacolare. ,La Santa Caterina si percorrerà in senso contrario rispetto alla scorsa edizione. Arrivo alle ore 15.00, seguito, come sempre, dalle premiazioni presso il Teatro SantaCroce.

PROTAGONISTI. Attesi i big isolani, da Maurizio Diomedi vincitore di ben quattro edizioni, quest’anno su Peugeot 207 s2000 a Vittorio Musselli secondo assoluto lo scorso anno insieme al cugino Salvatore Musselli su Ford Fiesta Super 2000, quest’anno alle prese con una Skoda Fabia S2000. Determinato anche Claudio Addis su Fiesta RRC. Atteso anche Auro Siddi, protagonista lo scorso anno di una gara impegnativa su Citroen Saxo quest’anno con Subaru Impreza N4. La famiglia Marrone sarà protagonista con i giovani Stefano e Fabrizio. Il primo sulla Mitsubishi di famiglia, il secondo su Citroen Saxo. Grande curiosità intorno al nome di Ino Corona, agguerrito vincitore della scorsa edizione, durante la quale portò a casa tutte le dieci speciali arrivando sul primo gradino del podio Per lui la performance in terra sarda sarà a bordo di una Ford Fiesta S 2000 .

TROFEI. anche quest’anno il Rally dei Nuraghi e del Vermentino ricorda il giovane Matteo Mannazzu con il Trofeo per il miglior navigatore. Matteo Mannazzu, stroncato da un male incurabile, era un navigatore giovane e appassionato, pignolo e determinato: il compagno ideale.

La Rassinaby Racing ricorderà Salvatore Pigozzi, scomparso qualche anno fa, per anni affettuoso e affezionato collaboratore dell’associazione. Fin dalla prima edizione della gara il sorriso del premuroso Salvatore ha accompagnato tutti nell’organizzazione della manifestazione. La passione di Salvatore e la sua instancabile voglia di fare si trasformano ora in un Trofeo da consegnare all’equipaggio più anziano ( in base alla somma degli anni del pilota e del navigatore)

PARTNER La segreteria della Rassinaby Racing lavora a pieno ritmo, al momento sono 63 gli equipaggi iscritti, manca poco alla chiusura delle iscrizioni e all’inizio ufficiale della gara, per la quale anche quest’anno è fondamentale il supporto delle istituzioni, dalla Regione alla Provincia Olbia Tempi e a quella di Sassari, al Comune di Berchidda, da sempre patner della gara. Il grazie dell’organizzazione va anche ai comuni di Tula Erula e Oschiri, e agli sponsor Yokohama, Catte, Musselli, Car Service, Nonna Isa.
