10TH EDITION OF MEDIEVAL ARTS AND CRAFTS – IGLESIAS – July 26 to 30

In this tenth edition of the show Arts and Crafts in the Middle Ages, also considered the success of previous editions, will profoundly expanded its program, even with the addition of side events. The representation of arts and crafts and the layout of the medieval-style market will be held for two days (28 and 29 July 2012), and the well-established show of flags, dance, music and medieval fencing will close the event on the day of Sunday, July 29. In the outdoor spaces in front of the Cloister of St. Francis will be set up booths for the representation of the market and ancient crafts, made with faithful reproductions of paintings of the time. You can watch the herbarium, the painter, the host, confectionery, the seller of the animals, the dairy farmer, blacksmith, and other crafts of the period, as well as a faithful reproduction of a medieval field. The two-day Arts and Crafts in the Middle Ages, you can also enjoy dishes cooked according to ancient medieval recipes, and engage in activities of rediscovery of the ancient arts through the provision of educational workshops by members of the Association.
