Ancora qualche giorno per visitare le quattro mostre ideate e allestite all’interno di “Sulle Strade del Blues”, festival dedicato alle sonorità blues ospitato al Lazzaretto di Cagliari nei giorni 1-24 agosto 2014.

Il percorso parte dalla sala degli archi con “Voodoo, i colori della superstizione”, personale di Stefano Obino, grafico e illustratore cagliaritano che ha firmato pitture su carta di riso ispirate ai riti ancestrali di New Orleans e alle divinità voodoo.
È dedicata al sogno americano la serie “Revelation”, scatti firmati dal fotografo cagliaritano A mad Tea Party: una visione di paesaggi desolanti, simbolo di un Occidente carico di illusioni e in realtà agonizzante sotto una miriade di luci e colori. Il testo di presentazione della mostra è di Giacomo Pisano.
“Body and sound in soul, dalla sofferenza all’estasi” è l’installazione audio-visiva prodotta dalle associazioni Carovana Smi e Spaziomusica: una ricerca sul tema della sofferenza umana che in alcune culture può essere motrice di arte ed espressione creativa.
Visitabile anche “Sulle Strade del Blues I edizione”, collettiva fotografica di Marco Floris, Gianfilippo Masserano, Patrizia Mura, Stefano Obino con gli scatti migliori realizzati nell’edizione 2013 del festival.

Il festival “Sulle Strade del Blues”, organizzato dalla coop. Sant’Elia 2003 in collaborazione con Salvatore Amara, Barbara Derosas e Paolo Demontis, ha portato in scena alcuni dei nomi isolani più in vista del panorama blues, rock, country e folk, nelle versioni più classiche o influenzate da suggestioni contemporanee, accanto a band in arrivo dalla penisola, con oltre 1500 spettatori nelle tre serate.

The festival “On Roads Blues”, organized by the coop.
