Sabato 15 dicembre alle 21,00 prosegue la rassegna “Solo il mio Nero – Visioni e sonorità nella Grey Area”” organizzata dall’Associazione culturale Hierrunieddu che quest’anno volge lo sguardo al versante più propriamente visivo dell’immaginario industrial e post-industrial.

Protagonista di questa terza serata sarà WAVE ON CANVAS (Cagliari) che presenterà il suo liveset sonoro sulle immagini del film “Decalogo 1” di Krzysztof Kieslowski. WAVES ON CANVAS è il nome d’arte del musicista e produttore Stefano Guzzetti. Nel 2012 il suo singolo “Angel” (con Louise Rutkowski dei This Mortal Coil e John Fryer) ha avuto splendide recensioni; il suo recente album “Into the Northsea” include anche le collaborazioni con Ian Masters e Pieter Nooten. Sempre più impegnato nella produzione di musiche per film e documentari, è attualmente al lavoro insieme al fotografo londinese Marc Atkins. Nel 2013 usciranno un album di solo piano per la label giapponese Nomadic Kids Republic e un lavoro ambient per l’inglese Somehow Recordings.

L’intenzione del festival “Solo il mio nero” è quella di mettere a confronto le opere di alcuni fra i più versatili esponenti della musica elettronica sardi e della penisola appartenenti alla scena industriale, la Greyarea, che eseguiranno una sonorizzazione dal vivo basata sulle immagini di un film da loro scelto. Con ciò si intende concentrare l’attenzione sul rapporto mai esaustivo che esiste tra occhio e orecchio come linfa delle rappresentazioni dell’immaginario, delle riflessioni e della ricerca all’interno della cultura industriale della greyarea.

A cadenza mensile i progetti sonori partecipanti sveleranno, attraverso l’interpretazione sonora dell’opera cinematografica, la zona grigia del proprio viaggio personale nel territorio, mai del tutto esplorato, dell’istante che sta tra l’atto creativo e l’opera creata.

Saturday, December 15 at 21.00 continues the series “Just my Black – Visions and sounds in the Grey Area” “organized by the Cultural Hierrunieddu this year looks to the side rather visual imagery industrial and post-industrial .

The protagonist of this third night will be WAVE ON CANVAS (Cagliari) who will present his liveset sound on the images of the film “Decalogue 1″ by Krzysztof Kieslowski. WAVES ON CANVAS is the stage name of musician and producer Stefano Guzzetti. In 2012, his single “Angel” (with Louise Rutkowski of This Mortal Coil and John Fryer) has had rave reviews, and his latest album “Into the Northsea” also includes collaborations with Ian Masters and Pieter Nooten. Increasingly involved in the production of music for films and documentaries, is currently working with the London-based photographer Marc Atkins. In 2013, an album of solo piano will go out to the Japanese label Nomadic Kids Republic and ambient work for English Somehow Recordings.

The intention of the festival, “Only my black” is to compare the works of some of the most versatile exponents of electronic music Sardinians and the peninsula belonging to the industrial scene, the Greyarea, which will perform a live sound image-based a movie of their choice. This is intended to focus attention on the relationship that exists between ever comprehensive eye and ear like sap of imaginary representations, reflections and research within the industrial culture of greyarea.

A monthly and sound projects participants reveal, through the interpretation of the cinematographic sound, the gray area in the territory of their own personal journey, never fully explored, the instant that lies between the creative act and the work created.
