The quartet ex Machina Music (piano, bass, trumpet, drums) was born in 2005 from an idea of the pianist / composer Guido Coraddu and a repertoire based on original pieces that go to build an imaginary journey through musical genres and styles, revisiting and reinventing , in a playful jazz style of improvisation and surprise songs ranging from folk melodies up to modern pop music.
In recent years the band has performed at numerous festivals of primary importance (including The Edge and between Sardinia and Jazz., 2011, European Jazz Expo ed. 2008 to 2009 – 2010, Festival de Verbier ed. 2009 – 2010) and has added many artists of national and international scene,
including Louis Sclavis, Victor See Yuen, Hasan Bakr,
Cecilia Smith, Kenny Brawner, Fred Johnson, Roy Paci,
Marco Rovelli …

On Aug. 31, as part of “The Edge between Sardinia and Jazz” Sant’Anna Arresi was presented to the press “l’Age d’Or”, produced by the independent American Dance Asylum in New York.
