LIGHTING OF PROSE – MASSIMO THEATRE – CAGLIARI – SEASON 2012/2013

In the season 2012/2013, from October 23 to April 7, 2013, found in the Teatro Massimo di Cagliari take turns nine companies for a total of 52 performances.

By William Shakespeare in Martin McDonagh, for a “tilt” in the English theater: “M’Illumino Prose / Prose The Great at the Teatro Massimo” ranges from the doubts and the ghosts of ‘”Hamlet” to murderous thoughts of betrayal and murder (or killing the tyrant) in “Julius Caesar” with all the art of the Bard, the photograph of a harsh and bitter reality more than ever in the current “Look Back in Anger” by John Osborne, and the beautiful metaphor of the art scene, with the parable of a great comedian, the “Servant of Scene” by Ronald Harwood to the ruthless family portrait – in the heart of Ireland – “West Solitaire” by Martin McDonagh.

But it will be the spectacular “PaGAGnini” – overwhelming performance theatrical musical inspired by the brilliant violinist – to open the season Tuesday, October 23, 2012 between the acrobatic virtuosity of a histrionic Ara Malikian, together with the artists of Yllana to form an unusual and playful String Quartet for a Dis / Concerto built on the more playful and fun classical music (and not only).
