Il progetto Perle ai porci nasce nel 2010, quando nei loro set, i djs Curios e Sole, veterani delle consolle cagliaritane e non solo, iniziano a ripescare e proporre i capisaldi della new wave anni ’80 inglese, dal power pop degli XTC all’elettronica di Gary Numan passando per Smith, Talking heads, Roxy music, Devo. Un set intercalato con successi contemporanei tra Beck, Le peuple de l’herbe, Kraak&Smaack, Siriusmo e anticipato, nella prima parte, da preludi deep funk, dai JB’s a Rhetta Hughes, da Marilyn Babarin a Brenda George.

Pearls before swine The project started in 2010, when in their set, djs Curios and Sun, veterans of the console Cagliari and not only begin to fish out and propose the cornerstones of the new wave 80s English, from power pop of XTC to ‘electronic Gary Numan via Smith, Talking heads, Roxy music, Devo. A set interspersed with contemporary successes between Beck, Le peuple de l’herbe, Kraak & Smaack, Siriusmo and early in the first half, as preludes deep funk from JB’s to Rhetta Hughes, Marilyn Babarin Brenda George.
