Una storia dove il teatro si presenta con la sua forza seduttiva tra buffonerie ed intimismi. Divertente e poetico con un grande protagonista della scena ed una folta compagnia che fa sfoggio di “bravure” . Al nostro Fracassa, ormai maturo, il teatro si presenta con la forza seduttiva di un’ adolescente inconsciamente adescatrice. Vive con pienezza un’ epopea vitalissima e smodata da “Illusion comique” sino al sopraggiungere dell’indifferibile epilogo. E per la chiusura del sipario, per il ritiro dalle scene cosa scegliere? Assecondare il finale favolistico edulcorato e pacificante oppure seguire la prima intuizione dell’autore “seduto sull’orlo di un sepolcro ad attendere che la morte venisse col suo dito ossuto a spingerlo nella buia cavità” ? Quello della “… pietra verdastra e sgretolata della tomba”, dunque, sembrerebbe lo sfondo ideale dello scenario conclusivo, ma…..
