The organization of Polenta was born from the need to rediscover and a food of the past that has its roots in very distant. The polenta is no longer the poor food than once. With the passage of time has become a much sought after dish, ingredient of fine recipes and nutritious food of great value. The Pro Loco and the City of Arborea also by virtue of the varied composition of the resident population (many families from Veneto, Friuli, Lombardy and Emilia Romagna in the area) has decided to implement initiatives aimed at recovery of the traditions of the past with the rediscovery of cornmeal.
