TASTES FESTIVAL – TEMPIO PAUSANIA – 15 TO 21 OCTOBER

Will take place in Tempio, from Monday 15 to Sunday, October 21, 2012, the first edition of the Festival of Flavours, food and wine festival organized by the Nature Center Trade millennium, together with Confcommercio North Sardinia and the City of Temple.
The event, funded by the Chamber of Commerce, one of the activities of urban marketing that the Chamber of Commerce promotes the entire country, with the aim to boost trade in urban areas attrave
rso local products, appreciated and sought after by many important people. The gourmet market is in fact one of the main “reasons of tourism”, ie induces important flows of tourists to visit a destination because of the presence on site of exhibitions, and industry events.
The event will see the involvement of local restaurants which on this occasion will offer visitors a set menu consisting of appetizers, first course, main course and dessert at a cost of € 25.00, covered, drinks not included.
During the week will take place in the city center several side activities such as cooking classes for those who love the material, technical courses carving of fruits, vegetables and plants, a cooking contest for amateurs, product presentations, and taste, the market for organic products. Finally, in the final two days, Saturday and Sunday, will be held on Salone del Vino, with several wineries in all of Sardinia and an exhibition of products of excellence of the isle.
The food and wine is then intended as a promotional tool, to discover the beauty of the region through a pleasant journey of tastes, aromas and flavors.
