A visionary journey, a ship sailing toward the horizon, toward the open sea, near the border between the earth and the sky.
Sails to receive the breath of the world, the vessel moves away with its load of mysteries, dreamers, people also arrived “at the border”, that touch your fingers to read the thin boundary between normality and insanity . A perpetual succession of allegories and unspoken truth that slip between sinuous waves, lapping the edges of madness rational and irrational, the earth, the sea, the truth and the lie, the music and the word.
All languages and environments “on the border,” recalled the weary voice of a sailor in the role of which will decrease the Actor Gianluca Medas called to revive a text emerged in 1494 from the pen of Sebastian Brant and born to be satirical and edgy critique of contemporary society. This poignant portrait of the vices of the time did not leave a trace of itself only on paper: once again, a plurality of languages amazes and surprises us, and the same bitter critique of the society of the time also reflected by the paintings of Hieronymus Bosch paintings in strong colors that fascinate and suggestionano in a direct and powerful viewer.
Aided by a dreamy and imaginative music, created by tools that Tradition ascribes to the Sirens (the Harp, stirred by Raoul Moretti and Flute, animated by the breath of Giorgia Mascia, where applicable, will join also the Classical Guitar Andrea Congia) the tale of this adventure by sea will take us towards unexplored shores, questioning the meaning of madness and of that of the normal, involving us in a whirlwind of sounds and colors and words and images that, as centuries-old, do not stop to talk and send strong emotions.
