ØSCENA FESTIVAL è un progetto condiviso di Teatro Stabile della Sardegna e Cada Die Teatro di Cagliari, una collaborazione, nata dall’esigenza di esplorare ed indagare quel che si muove nei più giovani teatri delle altre regioni d’Italia. Dopo i gruppi lombardi e toscani, l’edizione 2014 del festival è dedicata alla SICILIA.Cosa è successo di straordinario nel teatro siciliano degli ultimi venti anni?Niente, se si pensa alla coeva nouvelle vague drammaturgica italiana; Tutto, se è vero com’è vero, che questa nouvelle vague drammaturgica italiana, non avrebbe mai avuto luogo senza la spinta propulsiva dei siciliani.Oscena Sicilia racconta tutto ciò, e molto di più, guardando al senso di questo retaggio, grazie alla presenza della compagnie isolane di nuova generazione.

Più pulito, metaforicamente e paradossalmente, di tanti altri luoghi pubblici, libero da vincoli di sistema e di mercato, lo spazio della toilette diventa ideale per innescare reazioni, suscitare un dialogo, incuriosire, sorprendere, divertire, interrogare. Occupy w.c ha coinvolto i bagni di numerosi musei in Europa, tra i quali la Tate Modern(Londra), il Reina Sofia (Madrid), il Palais de Tokio (Parigi), La Biennale di Venezia.
