Protagonist of this second will be “Uncodified” (Cagliari), the solo project of Corrado Altieri (TH26, Monosonik, Candor Chasma) and its sound live on the images of the film by Pupi Avati’s “The House of the Laughing Windows” (1976 ). All audio design is achieved and processed using analog and digital instrumentation, with no use of computers. “Uncodified” moves in the areas of electronic sound-experimental, with references ranging from drone-music-noise all’harsh more extreme. Altieri has published Magick With Tears, Lisca and Santos Productions.
The intention of the festival, “Only my black” is to compare the works of some of the most versatile exponents of electronic music Sardinians and the peninsula belonging to the industrial scene, the Greyarea, which will perform a live sound image-based a movie of their choice. This is intended to focus attention on the relationship that exists between ever comprehensive eye and ear like sap of imaginary representations, reflections and research within the industrial culture of greyarea.
A monthly and sound projects participants reveal, through the interpretation of the cinematographic sound, the gray area in the territory of their own personal journey, never fully explored, the instant that lies between the creative act and the work created.
