Thursday November 8 debut Family Stories, a show that 12-13 Theatre opens the season at the Teatro Massimo stable of Sardinia Cagliari.

The show Family Stories sara’diretto by Jean-Claude Penchenat, French director who was a founder, along with Mnouchkine of Théâtre du Soleil and then owner of the Théâtre du Campagnol (also active in film, was the author, screenwriter, director of Le Bal from which then the film Dancing Dancing by Ettore Scola).

Penchenat bring ‘scene in a living French writer, the most represented abroad, screenwriter of important films like The Last Metro’ and the headhunter, considered a classic of contemporary drama but in Italy it is not yet known, Jean -Claude Grumberg writer who combines the typical Jewish humor in a language that is between the absurd and the fantastic.

A walk through the work of the French playwright Jean-Claude Grumberg, from “Michu” (1966) to the most recent – yet unpublished in France – “His Mother”, through “How are you?, And” Mom back soon, poor orphan ” . collage of fragments, dazzling flash, to compose a single story frames: “Family Stories” and then, in an anthology of scenes, almost sketch, to make the fresco almost hyper-realistic and certainly ironic and grotesque of everyday life.
