Secondo appuntamento di Underwater 2014 presso Lo Sciabecco di Villasimius ma soprattutto quello più atteso e più ricco idi storia n programma, grazie alla partecipazione di due nomi di grande fama internazionale, DERRICK MAY e TIMO MAAS. Ai quali si aggiunge la ormai consolidata collaboarzione con MOVEMENT TORINO.

Il 9 Agosto si rinnova infatti l’appuntamento con Movement On The Island, il cui marchio è padre di eventi come Movement Festival e Kappa Future Festival (la cui sede è a Torino) che insieme a Basstation presentano una consolle davvero unica. Parliamo di Derrick May e Timo Maas. Entrambi non hanno certamente bisogno di presentazioni, il primo è noto come uno dei padri fondatori del genere techno, il secondo uno dei volti più presenti ad Ibiza. Derrick May ha segnato la storia di un movimento, anzi sarebbe giusto dire “inventato”. Famoso sia come dj che come produttore, lo ricordiamo anche sotto gli pseudonimi di “Mayday” e “Rhythim Is Rhythim”, senza dimenticare la sua etichetta Transmat. Ospite per quasi tre decenni di fastival e club di mezzo mondo, è doveroso ricordare il suo arrivo come una vera e propria leggenda. Tutto lo spirito e la tecnica del “Miles Davis della techno” farà davvero da padrone nel calendario degli eventi di Villasimius quest’anno. Timo Maas è storia più recente ma altrettanto ricca di momenti da sottolineare, soprattutto come remixer di Depeche Mode, Jamiroquai, Kelis, Madonna, Moloko e Tori Amos con le spalle cariche di una nomination al Grammy Awards e come dj resident di club come Pacha, DC10 di Ibiza e The End di Londra.

Insieme a loro gli artisti isolani, Claudio Prc e Marascia, due tra i nomi più rispettati dal pubblico inetrnazionale in ambito discografico.

Second round of 2014 at The Underwater Sciabecco Villasimius but especially the most awaited and richest history Ides No program, thanks to the participation of two big names of international reputation, DERRICK MAY and TIMO MAAS. Timo Maas is more recent history but also filled with moments to be stressed, especially as a remixer of Depeche Mode, Jamiroquai, Kelis, Madonna, Moloko and Tori Amos with their backs laden with a nomination for a Grammy Award as a resident dj in clubs like Pacha, DC10 in Ibiza and The End in London.
