Atteso ritorno a Cagliari per Giovanni Allevi: il pianista e compositore ascolano sarà in concerto il 10 marzo al Teatro Lirico, a oltre due anni e mezzo dalla sua ultima esibizione nel capoluogo sardo (che risale al 13 agosto del 2010). E c’è da aspettarsi il pubblico delle grandi occasioni per l’appuntamento proposto dall’associazione culturale Shannara con il contributo della Regione Autonoma della Sardegna (Assessorato della Pubblica istruzione e Assessorato del Turismo).

Giovanni Allevi sarà al centro dei riflettori a partire dalla ore 21 insieme all’Orchestra Sinfonica Italiana per l’unica tappa sarda del “Sunrise Tour” che lo vede impegnato con il programma del suo ultimo album, “Sunrise”, appunto. Uscito lo scorso ottobre, due anni dopo il successo di “Alien”, il nuovo progetto sinfonico del musicista marchigiano propone otto brani per 70 minuti di musica divisi idealmente in due parti: la “Fantasia concertante per pianoforte e orchestra” e “La danza della Strega”, la prima composizione per violino e orchestra firmata da Giovanni Allevi.

“Voglio pensare che ‘Sunrise’ rappresenti l’alba di un nuovo giorno”, ha dichiarato il riccioluto artista (quarantaquattro anni da compiere il prossimo aprile). “Ora siamo avvolti nell’incertezza, ma non dobbiamo smettere di sognare un mondo più bello. Vorrei che queste note possano donare a tutti un po’ di speranza e possano infondere il coraggio di intraprendere nuove strade. La Musica, la mia Strega Capricciosa, è riapparsa col suono struggente del violino e del pianoforte e orchestra. La musica della mia rinascita. Dopo un lungo e difficile periodo, le note, la gioia e l’entusiasmo sono tornati ad investirmi come una cascata.
