CONCERT SEASON 2012-2013 – LYRIC THEATRE OF CAGLIARI – FROM OCTOBER 19
Will start in October, the new concert season 2012-2013 will take place at the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari year it is proposed to follow the guidelines, necessary to present a first extensive programming and not single-issue and provide listeners with a view extended symphonic output, which range from the Baroque up to contemporary authors.
During the season we will provide space for the big names of national and international importance, but more importantly, will highlight the young and the choir, which will stage important texts and will be involved with the performance of high degree of difficulty to allow their growth and enhancement.
Present at the press conference this morning, in addition to the Director of the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari Marco Faelli, the Mayor of Cagliari Maximum Zedda, who did his best wishes for a successful concert season which may have as background the relationship between the municipality and the Lyric Theatre: “It ‘s necessary to advertise concerts and theater initiatives, as can be seen on the great prospects for revitalizing the city through culture and conduct a careful management of available resources. The Mayor wanted to highlight the work carried out at the Parco della Musica that have changed the face of the city, connecting Via Baccaredda with the Opera House and the new 700 parking spaces that will be made available to the public as soon as possible.
